Man, the perfect script for a movie. The sub washes up on some Pacific island beach, and the two guys climb out....and spend the rest of the movie discussing the great fortune of finding a paradise like this.

He’s a monster, but these poor indoctrinated saps may die inside a tin can in a watery grave. lousy way to go.
felt badly for the guys on the Kursk too.
Now wartime, THAT’S a different story.

I always wanted to see Montana.
It was such a great movie (and book). It certainly matters not to the dog-eaters of North Korea. Possibly a NK torpedo is like a nuclear hand grenade...

Dear Leader’s insistence on screen doors for the conning tower may have been a factor.

The submarine, apparently on some sort of exercise earlier this week, was being tracked by the U.S. military when it suddenly stopped. The fate of the sub is unknownIsn't this how just about every Godzilla movie begins?

Maybe the weather starting getting rough, and the tiny ship was tossed. I sure hope they had a fearless crew or the submarine will be lost.
