Obama’s wine: “What’s the word? Thunderbird! What’s the price? A dollar twice!”
There’s lots of good CA wine for under 5 bucks a bottle, especially in the reds. In fact the climate is so good here you really have to screw things up badly to make a bad red wine. Whites are a bit trickier.
I’m partial to Peter Vella Burgundy for about 11 bucks a box myself. Nothing complex, but a good simple red.

I can tell you what it is from my marketing background - Trump bringing out his products was marketing genius. That was subliminal marketing gold that destroyed Romney's and Rubio's attack plan against Trump to attack him on his business record.
So thee send out talking point memos to their surrogates to attack his products. Trump's presentation sent the professional political attackers into a tizzy and they are trying to salvage their attack talking points. It is an old dirty trick in politics to attack your opponents strenghth.
I will give an example. Kerry's war hero record was attacked and it worked. Why? Because that traitor threw his medals away and unlike Trump no longer had them to show when the Swift Boat vets attacked him. In fact Kerry spent his whole life repudiating his war record. Trump embraces his product line as if it was all a jewel in the crown of his empire. Thus his enemies can't attack him on it easily.
Again, from a marketing standpoint - it seems to me these opposition researchers for the establishment have never faced an opponent like Trump and are flailing to try and get an attack that works against Trump that Trump can't answer.
The latest attack on Trump is tp try and attack his campaign manager to get Trump to fire him with and to do these rent a mob attacks at Trump rallies. 20K people day in and out showing up hear Trump scares the hell out of the Establishment.
I like wine. Tasted it all over Europe with the army. What I discovered for me is that I like what tastes good to me, so that’s how I pick it. If I like the taste, I buy it. If I don’t, then I don’t. Was at Biltmore, and they didn’t have a single variety I liked. Went to this tiny place called
Firelands on Lake Erie and found 3 that I liked. Had a really good semi-dry Gewurtstrauminer.
Obama was insulting Trump’s wine and the fact that he made a profit in selling it. Obama has never produced anything valuable in his life. All he creates is debt and strife.
idiot followers?
perhaps the difference between a bottle and a glass
duh
We’ve been to the winery a few times, bought a few bottles. Pretty place, very good wine. We’ve seen them in our nearby Kroger & VA ABC store.
I heard he doesn’t even drink coffee!
Rush is talking like a fool. The wines have good ratings.

Rush Limbaugh this past week called Trumps wine, vinegar. I have no idea what the context was since after 25+ years of faithful listening I have hardly listened lately to Rush.”
He seems to have gone off the deep end with Cruz mancrush. Never heard him distort so badly. I can’t listen to him either, very disappointed.
If Rush is a recovering addict, he shouldn’t be drinking alcohol, even if he thinks it tastes like vinegar.
LMAO!
Nice place. Too bad he cheated the banks to get it. Trump was friends with the previous owner (a nude model who married her rich lover and was then widowed). She borrowed some $40 million to make it operational and then went bankrupt. It was worth about $12 million at the time. The widow sold the property frontage to Trump who then allowed her to stay in the chalet. He put up “no trespassing” signs, preventing potential new owners from seeing the property. Trump eventually bought the rest of the property for less than $4 million, a third of its value. Banks lost 36 million, Trump gained $8 million.
A real businessman can do that, find someone who can manage the shop and let them run it, those who don’t know how to hire people cannot. I have met some very successful people who told me that the hardest thing they ever had to learn was to stand back and let someone do their job.
What, no Boone’s Farm?
What, no Boone’s Farm?
