Then let the Trump rally organizers do the same thing, ask for the invitation and ID.
I know it’s tempting, but we would be vilified for it as violent extremist Nazi Trumpists and not protesters. I say no.
Better idea:
Target towns or counties where Clinton or Sanders are going to have appearances where turnout will be modest.
Stage an opposition rally as large as possible, as visible as possible, the same day. A march right in front of the local TV station might work well, if practical.
Remember, Republicans usually work, unlike lots of our Dem brethren, many who are on welfare with no jobs, or are activist students. We don’t have the luxury of time to demonstrate or riot. Plus we will lose the moral high ground.
Save it for the Pub Convention in Cleveland. Demonstrations and protests may be in order then if the GOPe tries to pull a fast one on Trump. We can pick on the Dems in the general election. First things first. Civil War within the Pub Party, then Revolution with the Dems, if necessary. Keep your pitchforks nearby for all possible contingencies.
I understand about “time” — do I ever! Usually, my “time” consists of a quick break to eat, or is at 3 a.m. Still... Lots of people are finding time to show up at Trump rallies...
In no way am I suggesting rioting or unlawful activity of any kind. But being heard / seen - yes.
