Trump will be last GOP hopeful standing: CFO survey
CNBC ^ | March 10, 2016 | David Spiegel

Business icons Jack Welch, Meg Whitman and Carly Fiorina all had negative things to say about Donald Trump this week, and media reports said tech CEOs including Tim Cook and Elon Musk held a secret meeting to discuss how to stop the GOP front-runner.

But do you think any of this will slow The Donald? U.S. CFOs don't. Across a wide range of industries, CFOs have conceded that Trump will be the GOP candidate, according to the latest CNBC Global CFO Council survey, conducted between Feb. 25 and March 8.

It's the first time since the GOP race began that a majority of U.S. CFOs taking the survey said Trump would prevail in the battle for the Republican nomination.

A little under 67 percent of CFOs say Trump will maintain his lead, up from 15.4 percent who picked Trump in December, before the start of the primary voting season. Marco Rubio at 16.7 percent was second, followed by Ted Cruz's 12.5 percent.

The more the establishment tries to stop him, the more I lean toward him.

“Tim Cook and Elon Musk held a secret meeting to discuss how to stop the GOP front-runner.”

Get the FR AppleHeads on the case, they’ll help make it all about denial of personal freedom and liberty! Then they will challenge whether these people have enough coding experience, run their own VERY impressive credits and call them idiots. And they won’t stop until everyone is so tired of hearing from them they will just walk away. Problem solved.

Meg Whitman pretty much destroyed eBay as we used to know it. She can’t be trusted with anything she says.

$5 billion in gubmint subsidies and over $5 billion in gubmint contracts are the reason why Elon Musk wants Trump stopped.

If trump wins first directive should be to its to look into these political pac,s formed as 503c and who hosted the anti trump plan and remove their on tax status, call them tax frauds and prosecute the perps. I am not talking about the 504s and those that Lerner went after I am talking about Rove and his bunch.

Trump would. Cruz wouldn’t or couldn’t. Cruz is part of the doner class accepting huge donations from these pacs.

I’m curious. Has Trump said whether or not he will eliminate any government agency?

It wasn’t a Secret meeting because they though that if we/US saw them plotting against Trump we/US would respect and go along with DEM! They have now we figured out that we are publicly telling DEM all to kiss our collective asses via our VOtes for Trump!

“$5 billion in gubmint subsidies and over $5 billion in gubmint contracts are the reason why Elon Musk wants Trump stopped.”

Ironic that trump wants to keep the crony pet projects alive. Didn’t he say he wanted to EXPAND ethanol mandate? Why wouldn’t he want to also expand the solar mandate or the algae mandate or the dung fuel mandates?

Tell me why you think Musk was at the meeting to stop Trump? I think I am correct on this.

Trump is the only GOP candidate who will help them make inroads into middle class Democrat voting with his position on job giveaways through trade. They better take advantage of this or continue to suffer election loss for the foreseeable future.

The middle class is up for grabs as Sanders is showing in the Democrat primaries. The GOP acts like working people stink and don’t belong in ‘their’ country club party. Wake up GOP, it’s time to broaden your view.

If true and it makes me wonder too, that would complete the American Communist Coup for our government.
