Rob Portman: Kasich win would make him the 'candidate to watch'
Washington Times ^ | March 11, 2016 | Seth McLaughlin

"It is not necessarily that he will get the majority of the delegates — though anything is possible in this race, everything has been unpredictable so far — but he certainly would go into the convention with a lot of leverage," Mr. Portman said. "I think that is good for Ohio."

Political analysts say Mr. Kasich is angling to be a kingmaker at a contested convention and is eyeing the No. 2 slot on the GOP ticket.

I am an Ohio resident and I was considering Kasich. The debate last night was a disappointment because Casey has a global warming guy. That is a big deal to me. I thought Trump look very good last night. I am voting for Trump

So bad that my birthplace is represented by one thoroughly delusional Senator and one totally nuts-off-his-rocker Senator.

“Political analysts say Mr. Kasich is angling to be a kingmaker at a contested convention and is eyeing the No. 2 slot on the GOP ticket.”

Today’s “bull$hit” from the MSM/GOPe. Screw Portman, another pseudo-conservative who needs to be shown the door.

Especially since he supports TTP and TPA and has cost Ohio a lot of jobs, think that is why Trump is leading there???

An Ohio win just might get Kasich the VP slot under Donald Trump. I have no idea if they despise each other or get along well enough.

Kasich has been a long time numbskull when it comes to immigration and trade which might ruin his chances with Trump.

Well, wouldn’t that require a “win”?

snip> On the other side of the debate is Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who said earlier this month he thinks he supports the TPP deal, but will withhold judgment until he sees details. In addition to the economic effects of the agreement, Kasich said he favored the geopolitical advantages of further entrenching U.S. interests around the Pacific Rim. <snip

Kasich supported NAFTA while in Congress.
If OH voters get a whiff of that, Kasich is finished!

In other words... SPREAD THE WORD!!!

I can see him being a VP. If he wins Ohio and can delivery OH in the general it does make sense.

So...if you somehow manage to win your home state, you’re the guy to watch? I don’t think so.

Kasich is going nowhere. He hasn’t won a state yet, only has a hand full of delegates.

I don’t believe in wasting my vote, I can never vote for someone who cannot win anywhere.

I will think less of Ohio voters if they back a guy who will have to drop out anyway.

For many months Kasich has not done his job in Ohio. He camped out in New Hampshire and Michigan, and lost both.

Ohio has a chance to be crucial in bringing this GOP bloodletting to an end so we can beat Hillary. Kasich is putting himself before the election.

Send this son of a postman back to the dead letter office.

I sure didn’t like it when Kasich said that Christian bakers should just bake gays a cupcake and get over it. So he supports taking away rights of one group of people to pacify another group. Wonder what he thinks about blasphemy against Mohammed? Or forcing doctors to do abortions?

Well, he'd be the guy to watch that night when giving his victory speech. Then he'd go back to being the guy to ignore.
