Years of crippling socialist policies have left Venezuela so bereft of food, average Venezuelans must spent up to six hours waiting in line to received their allotted rations of basic goods like vegetable oil, flour, or milk. Musician Jonathan Acosta has offered to help ease the frustration by visiting supermarkets and performing for those waiting in line.

This is what socialism is like in real life.
But the people waiting in line provide an audience for musicians looking for a place to play..
No bread, just the circus.
It’s a captive audience. If the guy is no good I’m sure it will be torture for the audience.

Gee I wonder where ones like Sean Penn or Neil Young or David Crosby or Bonnie Raitt are for something like this, since they are big fans of socialists like the late Hugo Chavez or Bernie Sanders?
I can just picture Bernie Sanders, serenading us all with “This Land is Your Land” as we wait in endless lines for that last container of deodorant on the store shelf . . .
Sort of like Obamacare. Maybe they should record this guy and play him as background music while victims of OC are waiting for assistance from the support person at the insurance company.
Here, I’ll be a liberal who is concerned about this problem- We’ve got to send some love their way. They’re hurting and we can make a difference together. Erase the hate!

Ya. That is not a pretty picture — hundreds of people standing in line in the heat and humidity to buy deodorant because they ran out weeks ago.
Its sad to note that they voted for this. They chose this. Overwhelmingly. Repeatedly. They just didn’t realize this was what they were choosing.
I can hear the excuses already - it can’t be the ideology itself that’s at fault here, just the wrong people were in charge - again....

Ah the “joys” of socialist communism; Someone with a modicum of common sense should make every Bernie Sanders and Hildabeast supporter watch videos of this along with the multitudes of other horrors that have been visited upon Venezuela as a direct result of socialist communism.
We could at least send xeroxed prints of our hands to them.
All you kiddies out there with your Sanders stickers on the car mom used to drive (but now you do); take note. "Free Stuff" does not mean "limitless stuff." There will be rationing. There will be a black market, where entrepreneurial skills mean everything.

The dumb Hillary & Bernie supporters will just tell you that Hill/Bern don’t want the Venezuelan type Socialism, they want the Nordic Type.
Of course Hugo Chevez and the voters of Venezuela originally wanted the Nordic type also, but unlike the Nordic countries (and just like the United States) they have a large diverse population and have to pay for their own defense, so they ran out of other people’s money 1st and Socialism isn’t fun there anymore.
