Now, examine the issue that Trump is winning those crossover voters. Number one, building the wall, securing the border and deporting illegals. That is NOT the GOPes issue, far from it but it is a VERY conservative issue.
Add his tax plan, repealing Obamacare, strengthening the military, taking care of our vets and defending the 2nd amendment.
Those are conservative issues.

I was thinking the same thing. Rush’s analysis just leaves me scratching my head anymore. Is he doing this intentionally, or does he really believe this?

It is a Primary Day so Rush thinks he needs to get his listeners to vote for Cruz.
Laura is rocking it today. Understands exactly what is going on with the Trump movement and how they would go after Cruz once Trump is out of the way.

Those supporting Cruz are doing our "revolution" a great disservice, imo. Even if Cruz wrested the nomination away from Trump, the GOP will seek to replace him too. Enter Romney. The GOP-e wants amnesty to happen and will do anything to make that happen, including losing the election to Clinton.
The alternative is that Cruz really is a Reagan and is not opposed to granting amnesty. Evidence of his selling out to the establishment is there.
Excellent Trump already said that if planned parenthood exists it should be without federal funding and with no abortions,not a bad idea.make then really care about women for real.

I really don’t think it helps cruz to say what Rush has said so far. He has pointed out how Trump reaches out to almost everyone except far left goons.There was time when Rush did go for Cruz but I don’t think he is doing it on the air now.All I see is pretty fair and balanced approach along with pointing out the highlights of the election.
While that’s always a possibility if you are worth what Rush is worth do you really bow to anyone?

upsdriver did a very good job of pointing out that Rush is trying desperately to paint Trump as nothing more than an Establishment type. Problem for Rush (as ups pointed out), is that Trump’s positions are anything but establishment.
It’s this type of crap that has me very disappointed in Rush the past month or so.
Factor also that he completely gives Cruz and Rubio a pass for their anti-conservative positions: Gang of Eight, support for TPA, Corker Iran Bill, Increase in H1B Visas, Amnesty...yada, yada. Oh, yes, these guys are sitting U.S,. Senators! Trump has been a private citizen!
