A battle is being waged within Florida Sen. Marco Rubio's campaign about whether he should even remain in the Republican presidential race ahead of his home state primary on March 15, sources say.
Rubio himself is "bullish" on his odds of winning the critical primary, despite some advisers who are less hopeful and believe a loss there would damage him politically in both the short- and long-term.
Conant pointed to the fact that Rubio appears to be closing in on GOP front-runner Donald Trump's lead in Florida.
A Monmouth poll released Monday shows Rubio behind Trump, 38% to 30%. A Quinnipiac poll released two weeks ago put Rubio behind Trump by a wider margin: 44% to 28%.

I think Trump will win in FL.
I want the Memorizer Bunny to go down in ignominious flames in his home state and reap the political banishment he so richly deserves.
They should only get one chance to betray the citizens.
AZ disagrees, McAmnesty.....Flake....
Stay in Rubio! He and cruz can split the anti trump vote. Winner take all baby!
:)
That way lies perdition.
He will drop out tomorrow and endorse his good friend Ted Cruz.
Does he realize he is “fair game” regarding his shenanigans...the women, the $40,000 charged to his card, the foam parties........
If all four stay in, Trump will not reach 1237. If it goes to a second ballot, Trump will not be the nominee. If Trump is not the nominee,Cleveland’s new riot gear will be a smart move...
LOL. Get out? Early voting has already started. One out of every 5 votes in FL is cast during early voting. Some polls show Rubio dominating early voting.
If all four stay in, Trump will reach 1,237 easily.
If he gets out, his political career is effectively over. If he stays in and loses to Trump his political career is effectively over. He has to win. His back is to the wall, but it doesn’t look very likely.
Live to fight another day. Dunkirk.
That would be the best way to blame a loss on an announced suspension of his campaign, keeps him “viable” for convention shenanigans.
Rubio can’t drop out.
The vote needs to stay divided enough so there isn’t a clear majority candidate at the convention.
And Romney can be inserted into the slipstream.
It’s all by design.
He’s staying in. Hell, the Kung Foo Postman won’t even get out.
Yeah this leak is psyops to either dissuade Rubio votes tomorrow and/or further the brokered convention strategy
“And Romney can be inserted into the slipstream.
Its all by design.”
I think you broke the code and shined the light of truth on the Fl GOP primary and GOP convention plans.
Please stay in until Florida Marco, thanks!
hiscampaign supporters I’m sure won’t be supplying him with much more money once they see they are just throwing it away on someone who can’t win- We’ll see if he has the integrity to drop out of the race for their sakes or not—
Drop out Rubio!
