Ouch . Good luck on the path to nowhere.
TPA TEDDY. Going nowhere. No chance. Finished.
This TPA/Nafta crap was a CRIME against America. Cruz was a leader on TPA!! He is bought and paid for!!
Your opinion.
Thanks for the confirmation.
Your welcome. Good luck with your infinite facts.
:)
On man when asked about Trump said simply,
A peacock today, a feather duster tomorrow,
Facts don’t mean a lot to some.
Take care.
Good luck Cruzer. Short ride.
I think it depends entirely on your perspective. If you were one of the employees (both line and management) who lost a job under Welch, you probably hate him.
Welch completely restructured GE, got the company out of market sectors in which it was not number one or two, laid off the bottom 10 percent of management and line employees and, in the process, became much more profitable. Thus, if you owned GE stock at the time, you probably love Jack Welch. If your retirement fund was invested in GE (and you were aware of it), your portfolio grew and you love him too.
Here are a few things Investopedia says about Jack Welch’s reign at GE:
“The story of Jack Welch has become the stuff of management legend - from his harsh treatment by the media for downsizing to his emphasis on people and corporate culture. Under Welch, GE exited many of the traditional markets it had competed in for years, like consumer appliances and air conditioning, and entered completely new areas like medical technology, finance, television and services. Welch believed that with the right people, GE could make each new venture a success.
To attract the right personnel, Welch instituted a strategy that earned him the moniker “Neutron Jack”. He had GE cut all businesses in which the company could not dominate the market in first or second positions. Next, he had managers fire the bottom 10% of GE employees, while he fired the bottom 10% of management. Welch’s housecleaning cleared away layers of bureaucracy that had built up at the organization and made way for a quicker flow of ideas. The new commitment to competition came with large rewards, especially as stock option grants increased in value and GE continued to grow rapidly. GE soon became one of the most coveted places to work and attracted the best in the world.”

And, just for the record, here’s a video of Donald Trump and Jack Welch together on the Today Show. In Trump’s words, “There’s nobody better than Jack.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crP1Hv_W1kA
And it seems that Trump believes Jack Welch would make an excellent treasury secretary: “I’d like guys like Jack Welch.”

Thanks for the info.
Jack always takes the time to do what is right.
It’s not surprising he supports Cruz. He literally despises most democrats and Trump looks, feels and smells like a democrat.
That is contrary to the misguided knee jerk opinions expressed here, unfortunately.
GE was not in the governments pocket until after 2007 and long after Jack left.
