Rubio Scams Florida College and Floridians... another No-Show job!
NBC News ^ | Feb 04, 2016 | Alex Jaffe

I missed this, from a month ago... but needs to be made loud and clear.

..."Marco Rubio has received plenty of attention - and criticism - for skipping Senate hearings and votes as he campaigns for his White House bid.

But this isn't the first job where Rubio has taken heat for failing to go all in. Documents and records obtained by NBC News suggest that as a visiting professor at Florida International University, he worked less than 10 hours a week and missed three-in-10 classes during his first semester of teaching - all while making more than most part-time visiting professors."...

I will confirm that Rubio is hands down the worst Senator we've ever had in Florida. And that includes Democrats, because at least they showed up for work.

It was probably just not exciting enough and sort of an exercise in futility — like being in the Senate.

Not one question about any of Rubio’s FL scandals in the debate. Let’s see if they mention them in the debate next week. I doubt it.

Once he was in the U.S. Senate, he was subject to Senate rules for outside work. The amount he was paid reflect those limits.

During the time between the Florida legislature and the Senate, no rules applied. Apparently, his salary was covered by a donor. There are many people at top universities and other places aspiring to be top universities, who teach 1 course a semester and are paid a lot of money. It’s for prestige.

Think of Condoleezza Rice at Stanford. Or, Carly Fiorina serving on corporate boards before getting into the race. Or, think of Donald Trump licensing his name. A former Speaker of the House of a State legislature is not in the same category as Rice or Fiorina or Trump, so we’re not talking of the astronomical compensation they receive.

Life isn’t fair, guys. The average CEO or a Fortune 500 company makes almost as much as the average of the top 500 professional athletes. Jennifer Lawrence gets paid millions of dollars per movie, and complains. The typical head of the Medical College associated with a state university has a structured compensation package that enables him to make a million dollars a year. J.K. Rowling became a billionaire on royalties from the Harry Potter books and movies.

The problem we have is that the system used to work for Joe and Jane average as well as the people at the top, and it doesn’t anymore.

“NoShow Rubio. Hey it rhymes. Good moniker for him - No Show Rubio.”

That is the moniker Trump should have used in the debate last night. I will steal it and use it myself. “No Show Rubio”

That is a good name for Rubio. If he cannot handle the college and senate jobs, he surely cannot handle being president.

So I guess this makes him a “Constitutional Law PROFESSOR”, just like his pal Obama? Must be saving that for the general election.
