“I’m changing it, and I’m softening the position because we need to have talented people in this country . . .”

I never saw this coming.

“The closer he gets to the nomination, the more liberal he becomes.”

Imagine the shift if he were to win the election?

“Tell that to the Disney workers who were “Fired!””

Trump is saying where the skills are needed. Not where American already are filling the needs. Nice try, clown.

Indeed.

The candidates usually turn toward the center AFTER they get the nomination.

I see this as yet another sign that Trump was telling the conservative base what they wanted to hear in order to turn away from the establishment.

When he’s the only one standing, he’ll show his inner Bush/McConnel/Ryan.

It would only be a shift if you aren’t paying attention.

Same, I loathe the joke that is the H1B visa scam.

However, I believe what Trump said was that he was for keeping foreign students educated in American Universities ‘The best and the brightest’ if they want to stay here for jobs. To be honest, I do agree with that stance for obvious reasons.

The greater abomination is the scam that takes place every day in the USA like the recent Disney firings. I am 100% sure Trump is against that form of H1B.

Hopefully whoever is elected (Trump or Cruz I hope - in that order :) ) will sort this out correctly and as soon as possible.

Trump has said from the beginning where the US needs the knowledge we will bring it

Did you hear his own words? He’s changing his position.

It’s always been a possibility that the GOPe is too stupid to bring Trump down, so he will do it on his own.

Well yes. If Trump had said exactly the opposite it would have also been equally brilliant.

Instead of coopting Reagan’s sogan, he should take Obama’s slogan “Hope and change” ... Get their hopes up, then change your mind like a chameleon once in office. Easy as pie. Mmmm, mm, mmmmmmm.

Trump is talking about highly skilled workers where there is a shortage. Cruz and Rubio will let all the illegals in. Hey, that’s how they got in, so I can’t blame them.
