Donald Trump using this night in a news conference that was, Megyn, a different environment. It was a different look and frankly it kind of looked presidential, Bret Baier said.
Kelly agreed.
Very smart, she said. Not only that, but holding himself out there, striking a reasonable tone. He wasnt full of the normal bombast, there were a few jabs, but sounding presidential which sort of will help some of his detractors see him in a different light perhaps, and focusing most of his on Hillary Clinton.
It was a smart move, indeed. Trumps shifting his focus to the general election. The press conference was about one thing and one thing only: Showing those on the fence that he IS capable of looking and sounding presidential. And I have to hand it to him. He did a pretty solid job.

Wow! When Megyn Kelly is hinting at a compliment for Donald Trump something is in the air. We can't yet see it, but something is percolating for The Donald and it must be yuge.

It was actually pretty obvious. I think, for the first time, and deservedly so, he looked a little tired.

I would suggest she might be right, but I would have phrased it, "Donald Trump sounded presidential for the first time in his Super Tuesday speech."

Trump looked wiped out and Christie looked like he was going to sleep on his feet.

I heard a number of clips from the press conference. Trump sounded like a rational, knowledgeable and serious person. He also showed some real wit. Michael Medved and the other hysterics will not like this presser.

Don’t fall for the kiss up.

Cuz he controlled the dialogue and didn’t have to deal with her or the Chihuahuas.

He did exept for having to still say lightweight and of course keep is language at a 5th grade level for the most part.
I was impressed of course on of is statments that I heard that seems to have slipped..
on the issue of making a deal on the wall.. he added that “at this time” it was non negotiable which is boilerplate for.. can be talked into it or I will used this till i do not need it anymore.

Donald Trump did give Ted Cruz a shout out at the press conference which surprised me:
I want to congratulate him on winning Texas, that was an excellent win, Trump said of Cruz. I do congratulate Ted because I know how hard Ted worked on Texas now thats a big get..." Trump said.

Dana PeRino and Greg Buttfelt made up for Megyn on tonight’s “The Five.” The Midget Morons out did themselves, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

Good. I hated the pseudo-intellectual contempt thing, hopefully she gets past it.
