Re 12 the capture of a Soviet radar station complex by the Israelis.

They also captured a whole SAM 2 complex (missiles, control trailers, supply trailers, launchers, radar sets, etc). during the 1967 war.

I saw a little of the film of that site. The Israelis shared the information they got on the SAM guidance systems with the US to help reduce our losses over North Vietnam and it worked.

Being a journalist was fun back then. You could do some real reporting without political correctness or incompetent editors.

Thanks for the analysis. I looked at the fifty two slides in pdf and understood maybe 10%. Looks like Iran is a source of trouble and deals with Iran should be rejected. Sad that major leaders have been assassinated in the past. The photo of Khomeini exiting the plane in 1979 is ominous.
