Yep. I was told by a friend with a black belt that he was actually in a disadvantage in a street fight as there are no forms in street fights. He was a very good free form fighter too though. One other friend of mine was a something-degree black belt and got set upon by a group of high schoolers - he ended up in ICU for a month. He had never been in any sort of a street fight.

I like that part. Hannity is right.
Rubio is doing this to avoid bringing attention to his lack of accomplishment and smarts. He is an empty suit and obsessed with Trump.

I’ve been saying that for years. It started with Rush reading his father’s “Sacred Honor” speech and NEVER getting out from behind the golden EIB microphone.

However, he has said, that no matter who the candidate eventually is, the GOP should back that person.
It's clear from this past weekend that Trump is living rent free in Rubio's head. And you're right, this act (if you want to call it that) is designed to be a distraction. I'm sure his closest advisers and donors were telling Rubio to take this "tough guy" tact out on the road.

Trump, regardless of how you feel about him, has unmasked the phony conservatives and exposed them as the anti-American establishment.
What Rush did and does is very calculated... He really believed his secret session with the Amnesty pushers, Schumer and Graham would never be revealed... And Rush has done their bidding... I would love to know who outed him.

The major reason most people don’t care for Rubio is his allegiance with Democrats on the Gang Of 8 deal. No matter how hard he twists himself on the issue, people just aren’t going to accept his answer. I’m willing to believe what Trump said about Rubio and that is that Rubio stopped caring about the people of Florida the moment he arrived in Washington, DC. He’s an establishment shill. Finally, I haven’t seen any evidence that Rush attended these secret closed-door meetings. So on that point, I chalk it up to yellow journalism.
Fox News has notably changed its tone since the election. A Democratic policy staffer who worked on the issue in 2007 and has helped write the current bill said, “NumbersUSA and FAIR” - two groups that want to dramatically limit immigration - “managed to convince Fox News back then to be their twenty-four-hour news channel of the anti-immigrant point of view. Fox has now totally bought in to the idea that we just need to figure something out.” Rush Limbaugh, who fiercely opposes the bill, has come to sound resigned. “I don’t know if there’s any stopping this,” he said on January 28th, the day the Gang held the press conference announcing its framework for the legislation. “It’s up to me and Fox News, and I don’t think Fox News is that invested in this.”
McCain told me, “Rupert Murdoch is a strong supporter of immigration reform, and Roger Ailes is, too.” Murdoch is the chairman and C.E.O. of News Corp., which owns Fox, and Ailes is Fox News’s president. McCain said that he, Graham, Rubio, and others also have talked privately to top hosts at Fox, including Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, and Neil Cavuto, who are now relatively sympathetic to the Gang’s proposed bill. Hannity voiced support for a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, which he previously dismissed as “amnesty,” on the day after the 2012 election. “God bless Fox,” Graham said. “Last time, it was ‘amnesty’ every fifteen seconds.” He said that the change was important for his reëlection, because “eighty per cent of people in my primary get their news from Fox.” He added that the network has “allowed critics to come forward, but it’s been so much better.”
Rush finally admitted today, he had a secret meeting with Schemer and Graham back in 2011. Go check the Rush thread.... Remember Rush recently said something moronic that Rubio was the modern era Ronald Reagan, and that Rubio was a 'full-throated' conservative... Rush has been conning US.. and he has been outed.
I know I heard Rush say that Cruz was the modern day Reagan. I have never heard him compliment Rubio very often.

Rush spent the first two hours today talking about the meeting in NYC, so it is true. He reported that he told them no.
I dont disagree but we have to have the chance to hear both sides, correct?
Rubio lies about everything... HE WAS GANG OF EIGHT... that’s the CHEAP LABOR EXPRESS.

As early as March 9, 2011, Mr. Schumer joined Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican of South Carolina and another eventual member of the Gang of Eight, at the Palm restaurant in Manhattan, where they made their case to Mr. Murdoch, Mr. Ailes and Mr. Limbaugh in a private room. The senators argued how damaging the word “amnesty” was to their efforts, and walked Mr. Limbaugh through their vision for an immigration overhaul.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., has a law degree but never has really has practiced law. Now, though, he is in the middle of his first big case: negotiating an amicable divorce from the tea party.

The problem is how to embrace a Democratic idea without giving the Democrats credit. So Sen. Rubio and right-wing media want to make the moderate, reasonable proposal of legal status for illegal immigrants - an idea that most Americans now support, based on recent polls - a conservative idea. Enter the term “de facto amnesty.”
As Sen. Rubio has told it to right-wing media audiences over the last week, “de facto amnesty” is what we have now. The estimated 11 million illegal immigrants work, send their children to school and go to hospital emergency rooms. They have to fear raids and other encounters with the law, but despite the Obama administration’s record number of deportations, no one in Washington who matters has demanded a nationwide, spare-no-expenses effort to round up everyone who came illegally or stayed too long on a visa and became illegal.
Cleverly, though, Sen. Rubio hopes to define the debate around “de facto amnesty.” Those who already support legal status won’t care, as long as Congress acts. Sen. Rubio hopes to persuade the most conservative voters that his brand of legal status would replace “de facto amnesty.”
To that end, Sen. Rubio appeared on Limbaugh, Hannity, O’Reilly, Levin. He basically stuck to the same script: Let’s hope that President Obama doesn’t mess up with his rhetoric, demanding premature action. For all their “principles,” the eight senators don’t have a bill. The hosts played along with Sen. Rubio: Limbaugh: “ . . . what you are doing is admirable and noteworthy”; Hannity: “It’s the most thoughtful proposal that I have heard . . .” Yet to placate tea party voters, Sen. Rubio is pushing an unworkable idea: tying legal status for illegal immigrants to the opinion of an “independent commission” that the government has sufficiently improved border security. Who would appoint the commission members? What if their standards were unrealistically high? How often would the commission review security statistics? Which statistics would count most?
