RE: While you continued to post your petty anti Trump bs throughout 2015, and thanks to your open border thugs/buddies, Muslim RapeUgees were located in America in NY, your so called home state.

If you bothered to read my posts, I never took Trump’s immigration stance and his clamor for building the Wall into question. I supported him on THIS PARTICULAR ISSUE.

I did question his consistency on all OTHER issues of importance to conservatives because unlike others, I am not about personalities.

Even as a Cruz supporter, I questioned some of the votes he made in the Senate (e.g. the Corker bill ). NOBODY IS SACRED, and everyone has to be taken to task for mistakes they made. TRUMP INCLUDED.

And oh BTW, Trump is not the only person who says he will be tough on illegals, Cruz does also.

So, OVERALL on conservative issues, immigration included, Cruz trumps ( to find a better word ) Trump.

And oh yeah, I am sort of resigned to the fact that trump will win the nomination, but hey, that should not stop me from still insisting that he isn’t the best candidate of the bunch.

If the price of liberty is vigilance, then conservatives ought to be watching Trump closely. Supporting him on every single issue even when he does wrong ( e.g. his support of the appalling KELO decision ) is dumb.

This is all scare talk and like I said likely Sasse trying to make points with his constituency. There isn’t going to be any third party to vote for.

There's always third party candidates on the ballot.

But I do agree with you in part in that I think it is an attempt to influence voters. I don't know whether or not I'll be able to vote for Trump, but that's purely a matter of conscience on my end. I wouldn't encourage others not to vote for him, and I wouldn't vote third party.

RE: Yet another fraud conservative smoked out of the GOPe closet.

Let’s be fair, just because he does not support Trump does not make him a fraud conservative.

His voting record makes him a conservative on MOST issues. He has a problem on the one main issue a lot of Americans are concerned with — Illegal Immigration.

On this, his record his MIXED at best. On the one hand, Sasse supports legal status for illegal immigrants. On the other hand, He has also introduced legislation that would eliminate the practice of assigning Social Security numbers to illegal immigrants.

I think this meme about Trump being a big govt liberal is wearing a little thin. He’s not the most conservative guy to ever run but Trump is a natural born problem solver and he’s a patriotic American. He will do some good things for the country. He’s not owned by these donors so he is free to push his agenda.

I don’t know too many liberals salivating over building a wall or getting rid of waste, fraud and abuse and dumping Obamacare. I know of no liberals wanting to roll back regulations on business or lower taxes.

SO WHAT

AMNESTY IS AMNESTY

Do you know of any Americans Mr. Sasse is proposing to extend the franchise of being able to pick and choose which laws they obey?

He is proposing to make CITIZENS of foreign nationals who invaded the country for their own benefit and to the detriment of ours. Is that a “little thing”? A Federal misdemeanor on the first conviction, a felony on the second?

As if they bother prosecuting anyone for that anymore.

Could you list the federal laws that I’m free to flout? And the ones that foreign nationals get to flout above and beyond what I’m allowed to ignore? And then tell me why they have such a privilege, having no connection to the States that were once United?

A bunch of Mormons recently tried to occupy U.S. Federal property and were basically subjected to a military assault for it. Oddly I don’t recall such a reaction to Mexican Mafia incursions on our border - armed with automatic weapons - and in fact the BP agents assigned to intercept them are armed with BEAN BAG guns.

Wouldn’t wanna upset the Sacred Foreigners, now would we?

Mr. Sasse is a FRAUD. The idea that in the same breath someone can advocate ANYTHING like naturalizing an invader force and then call himself a “conservative” begs credulity and borders on the absurd. It would have been unthinkable even for the Democrats one generation ago - look at what the liar Ted Kennedy had to say on the Senate floor to pass the 1986 Amnesty.

Sorry. Not buying. It’s the first and foremost litmus test.

The article title is bogus as article says Sasser is “unlikely” to support Trump.
