if he runs as a GOPe then it is to take delegates from trump and not to win the election.

I can see him taking votes from both sides. You might not realize this, but there are people who absolutely will not vote for Trump, I am one of them, and probably will not vote if he is the nominee. There are also many who will not vote for Hillary, which is why Sanders has been competitive. So in some peeps mind, Bloomberg may be the most rational choice and alternative.

Bloomberg can help or hurt whoever he chooses. Since he doesn’t have any real hope of winning, he can redefine himself in any way he wants without losing anything.

Hope this is true. That’s the end of Hillary/Sanders & Trump will mop the floor with Bloomy, IMO.

Nope. The deadline has not passed for ANY STATE yet. Texas is first at May 9, 2016. Then North Carolina. The last states are in September.

He will need nearly 1,000,000 ballot signatures by then however.

He will be running on the SWAT teams to enforce tiny soda and no table salt platform. And his unpopular gun control agenda.

Trump will tie him to those two fiascos and it will be funny to watch.

This will give Moderate Republicans their alternative to Trump.

So instead of losing 35 states to Hillary, he’ll now lose 38 or 39.

And that’s before Trump moves leftward when he knows there’s nothing Conservatives can do about it anymore.

Big Gulp.

If that's a reference to SP, I get it. If not, I don't.

I think Levin was right about this last month. A Bloomberg run means President Trump.

If Bloomberg prevents anyone from reaching 270 Electoral Votes, the House of Representatives must choose, by state, from the top 3 finishers. I assume that will be Trump and two non-Republicans. Republicans hold 32 state majorities to the Democrats' 16.

In a sane world, that means that the Republican candidate will win.

Who is he planning on running against? There are no scheduled elections coming up in Russia for a couple of years.

I won’t believe this news unless BOTH the mainstream media AND conservative media announce it.

Both NY “republicans,” both billionaires... I can see how he’d appeal to “moderates” who are sickened by HRC corruption, and frightened by Trump’s rhetoric. But I think on balance he’ll play a spoiler more to HRC than to Trump.
