Nine months ago I was a Cruz supporter. Six months ago I supported Trump but would have enthusiastically voted for Cruz.
One month ago I would have reluctantly voted for Cruz.
Today, if Cruz is the nominee, I stay home.

I suppose I might rethink that last one, but for now I'm with you on all three.

For those that missed this joke the other day:

2016: No way will Trump win the election
2017: No way will President Trump fire all those nukes
2018: No way we are doing what these apes say

Someone once told me that the city of Boston had to deal with the mob in order to get the “Big Dig” done as the mob controlled much of the construction industry in that area. I don’t know if that is true, but if it was I would assume that it would also be true of many of the large cities along the northeast coast. Thus if true, Trump may have had to deal with the mob in order to get his stuff done whether he knew it or wanted to know it. It doesn’t mean that he did it intentionally. But, I’m sure that the press will do their due diligence to find out — Unlike how they vetted the current president and unlike how they are tracking the latest Hillary scandal with the email server and national secrets.

Yeah. When I saw Cruz & little Marco shake hands at the last debate, the optics were telling.

Ted may have said we should abolish the IRS, but in lawyer speak, he has never said he would.

ABC, CNN, multiple news reports have reported about Trump dealings with, for example, S&A Construction, which was owned by ‘Fat Tony’ Salerno, who is a mobster who is in jail,” Cruz said Sunday morning.

Well Obama had ties to Tony Rezco and Rod Blagojevich and he still got to be president. I guess Cruz needs to get off Trump’s back.

Wouldn't doubt it. Seeing as he IS a major CON ARTIST who is taking a lot of otherwise conscientious people for a delusionary ride, playing on a resonance on a messiah complex.

Cruz: I don’t want to say it’s aliens, but....

Cruz and Rubio are so obsessed with bringing down Trump they aren’t even campaigning anymore. It doesn’t look good.

So you think he took the ‘Mob Payoff’ deduction?

With this kind of Cruz logic, he'd be as dangerous as Bernie Sanders in the White House.

Cruz has become a Moonbat like Harry Reid.

Cruz even name dropped Romney, THE BOMBSHELL.

Yes, I noticed that. And it was, among other things, cowardly. As in: See, this mafia thing, it's not my idea. Mitt Romney told me!

Amazing the way the media, GOPe and other candidates are so willing to “speculate” on all the evil and corruption that might/could be found in Trump's tax returns.

They are attempting to smear him with innuendo.

Hey Cruz, How do we know your visits to public restrooms aren't homo fantasy joy rides. You have been seen visiting many public restrooms. Exactly what are you doing in there!? Gay men have been seen in public restrooms, you have been seen in public restrooms. I demand that you prove your heterosexuality!

Good Lord Ted. I know you got a little chummy with The Waterboy last Thursday night. Are you also getting campaign tips from him too? Talk about a campaign that has jumped the shark big time.

I honestly thought Cruz was smarter than to go down this road. Pathetic.

I'm the same as you. I've like Crus for a while. Decided to back Trump because he's a streetfighter, and that's what is needed to overcome the MSM. But I also thought Cruz would be a great VP...leading up to President.

But with this...I'm really wondering about the guy.

Who will Trump pick as his VP now?? All the other candidates are GOPe. Maybe Sen. Sessions?

Ted must be starting to realize he’s got to go back to the Senate where he will either become McConnells’ toady or can expect McConnell to raise a primar challenger to oppose him. So here’s an exercise for the reader: After Cruz suspends his campaign and returns to the Senate, let’s just see whether he remains the leader of the resistance, or if he becomes more of a go-along-to-get-along type of Senator like Rand Paul became after he cut a deal with McConnell to support him instead of Bevan. There will be no reason for Cruz to continue as a polarizing figure when it no longer helps him advance his ambition.

Funny how no one had a problem with this kind of attack when Trump was the only one doing them!

It seems to me that Trump and some of his supporter can dish it out, but can't take it.

To me this is no more stupid or silly than the whole Canadian and Liar thing spewed by Trump at Cruz. But now that Trump is in the lead... it's of course time to tone down this destructive rhetoric.
