Rubio wasn’t encouraged to enter the primary because he could win it, he was put in to split the vote so that Jeb! could win with a low percentage of the votes (which is all he could get given his unpopularity).

There had to be a reason the GOPe allowed 17 candidates to enter the race, but I thought it was just incompetence. But CT shows that it was in fact part of a well-orchestrated strategy.
One that did not accurately plan for Donald J. Trump. That was bad enough, but now that they’ve seen Chris CHristie who was privy to all the inner secrets of the GOPe and RNC is in the Trump camp, they are soiling their raiments. Ane worrying that while Christie also agreed to act as a “splitter” himself, maybe his loyalties were stronger to Trump than to the GOPe all along, e.g that he was also a “mole” who now can advise Trump of all their plans and likely next moves...

Rubio is going to pay for that, with the final payment being extracted March 15.
Rubio and Cruz are such poor strategists that they didn’t really begin their attacks on Trump until it was too late. If they didn’t know that Trump was by far the front runner for months, I would question them having a good vision for the nation.
I’ll add that Rubio really doesn’t have any real job experience. He’s been a politician all his career.
Apparently, Christie was a mole in the higher ranks of the RNC/GOPe open border elite thugs. So he knows things about Rubot, we will be finding out very soon.
You aren’t paying too much attention, Larry. The GOPE is apparently listening.
