Al Sharpton: Trump would probably deport me
The Hill ^ | 02/26/2016 | Jesse Byrnes

Al Sharpton said Thursday that if Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is elected president, the outspoken businessman would likely try to deport him.

"If Donald Trump is the nominee, I'm open to support anyone [else], while I'm also reserving my ticket to get out of here if he wins, only because he'd probably have me deported anyway," Sharpton said.

His remark was met with laughter at a Center for American Progress Action Fund event focused on issues during the presidential race. It was first highlighted by The Huffington Post.

Sharpton also suggested that Trump was the most surprised of anyone by his own political success, but cautioned the real estate tycoon could become a "prisoner of this wave that could go all the way if there is not a counter-wave."

Al, baby, even a President Trump couldn’t deport you. But, he could insist you pay your taxes and investigate you for fraud.

Uh yea, lots of people get their advice from Al Sharpton. He sticks his hands in their pockets than shares advice with them.

I’m not a DT supporter.

But that would be one reason for me to vote for him in the general election.

No, Al...you do not need to be deported. You need to be incarcerated fro your crimes.

...I'm also reserving my ticket to get out of here if he wins...

I'd buy his ticket for him if I thought he really meant that.

Sharpton said that Trump is the white Don King. Made me chuckle.

“Al Sharpton said Thursday that if Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is elected president, the outspoken businessman would likely try to deport him.”

One more reason to vote for Trump.

I would prefer putting Sharpton in prison for life.

But deportation, hopefully to a third world hell hole, would be ok.

There’s an awful lot of people that have served time for not paying taxes, particularly anyone that was flamboyant. This loathsome character has managed to avoid that - how that can be?

I'm not sure Africa would take him back. They already have all the corrupt politicians they can afford to support.
