And yet “The Cruzers” still see a “pathway” to the nomination! I just wished that the reality check was finished and all the rest of them would get out, because we need to allow Trump to focus on Hitlary. I just imagine he won’t be shy about “invading her space” in the upcoming debates.

So if that one poll with Cruz ahead nationally wasn’t an outlier, then where, other than Texas, is Cruz outpolling Trump?

It may be over soon regardless but wouldn't it be better if Rubio was the next to go? At this pace, Cruz might be out next.

The more Left a state is, the more it loves Trump.

Well, living in rural IL I can tell you for many of us our fondest wish is that Chicago would secede. Or just sink into the lake. Democrats like Pat Quinn won the governorship of Illinois by just winning 3 counties (out of 102!) So we know something about being trapped in a Blue State, and will happily vote for Trump!

Despite all the talk about Rubio, can anyone find a poll taken in any state or nationally which shows Rubio leading anywhere? Rubio even said that he doesn’t have to win states in order to win the nomination. The problem with that theory is that eventually voters will tire of voting for the perpetual 2nd or 3rd place finisher, and start voting for the guy who is actually winning contests.

That's my concern as well. Rubio is Jeb II and I'd much prefer to see it boil down to Cruz and Trump. I'm surprised that with Cruz's Conservative bona fides, he consistently trails Rubio, who besides all his other baggage is, IMO, just too young for the Presidency.

“other than Texas, is Cruz outpolling Trump?”

It seems like in all these polls Cruz has dropped into 3rd place behind Rubio.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Trump Rally in Springfield, Illinois!! It was packed! People even filled the area way up by the ceiling. I heard over 12,000 people. Largest crowd ever in that building.

Illinois is unique because of Chicagoland.

Delete that segment and it looks like Ohio or Iowa.
