It wasn’t a lawsuit.

This was a criminal indictment.

He could file a malicious prosecution lawsuit though.

I don’t know that Cali’s justice system is any better. Maybe better hidden from view.

Rick Perry did a good job in Texas as governor. Since I am a cynic, I think all politicians are corrupt to one degree or another...so why would I expect otherwise? I’d just be disappointed.

Like I said, he did a good job as governor...but I did not want him for president and was disappointed when he announced the second time. Hopefully, he won’t try for three.

The Austin gang tried to “DeLay” him...so today I am very happy they were denied.

What is going to happen to Special Prosecutor McCrum?

I have a suggestion: Empower a new Special Prosecutor to look into McCrum’s relationship with Progress Texas. Put the bastard before a Grand Jury and let him have a taste of Texan justice.

I hope Perry sues the bastard and Progress Texas for malicious and false prosecution, among other charges.

Does “Good Job” include the following?
Do you agree with the following?

Trans-Texas Corridor - Eminent Domain of Texas lands to a spanish Company to build a Toll Road

Gardasil Mandate for 12 year old Texas Schoolgirls - Tried to mandate gaurdasil vaccine for texas schoolgirls, had is relatives in the pay of Merck (the producer of the vaccine)

We fought him tooth and nail over BOTH issues for YEARS and finally overruled both Perry overreahes.

Yes I still think he did a good job. Nobody in office 12 years is not going to have controversial positions.

TTC...the population of south Texas is growing expononentionally . There is going to have to be a way to get from Austin/San Antonio to the north and vice versa. Without the huge delays. Yes, it will include eminent domain, as all highways have. Unless you walk hundreds of miles over the fields, and refrain from driving on ANY highway, you might want to rethink this.

Gaaardisil (you sound like Michelle Bachmann) had an opt out. just like all vaccines do. As far as the Merck allegation...I find that to be somewhat irrelevant. I have family that works for many companies...I don't promote them.

Help me out here...Perry is not a sitting governor. He's not running for anything. Why are you so angry?

Because he had the nerve to come out in support of that horrible liar Ted Cruz. That is not allowed. He must be punished.

Earl finally retired. His replacement is the drunk that Perry tried to get to resign.

Austin/Travis County is the socialist mecca of Texas. They always elect the most liberal democrat running.

So, Earl retired and left someone who he had mentored.

Earl was notorious for dropping charges right before the trial was about to start. His whole goal was to get the republican to resign. It worked with Tom Delay. The rule in congress is if you were indicted you had to step down from your leadership position.

It worked in that it got Perry out of the race.

The only one who stood up all the way was Kay Baily Hutchison. Ann Richards wanted her spot in the senate.
