"...SAR teams are on-the-ground now searching for General Foods, General Motors, and General Dynamics..." LOL.
I similarly find it rather difficult to belief that dozens of high-ranking officials were simultaneously together in a dusty outpost like Syria.

LOL, let me guess, they were in this underground bunker, and a really athletic black soldier ran down the row dumping grenades down vents.
He almost had an NFL look about him.
We saw that movie. Lol,,,Nerd.

LOL, let me guess, they were in this underground bunker, and a really athletic black soldier ran down the row dumping grenades down vents. Every time I watch The Dirty Dozen, I keep hoping just one time I'd see Jim Brown make it onto the truck.

The Russian Army has a few Marshals. Everyone else is a general.

The Jerusalem Post is the centrist newspaper in Israel, as opposed to the fairly hard core leftwing Haaretz and is usually reliable. And the original report actually says dozens of generals killed and injured. But that report is from two Syrian "opposition groups" so it should probably be taken with a big grain of salt until there's more confirmation.

I like The Great Raid.
I had a great uncle in that camp.

The article is really funny. The Jihadis set off a massive car bomb on Sunday, but with-held the announcement till today to give the bombers enough time to escape after the attack.
Because nobody else would have noticed this massive car bomb. And of course, no explanation why their relatively small operation needed “dozens” of generals. This isn’t the USAF here.
