The Donald has a track record of massive retaliation not unprovoked attack. The Cruz dustup is evidence of that. He just gave fair warning that they are accountable.

That is the real world.

He’s doing what GW SHOULD have been doing for 8 yrs: You wanna start a ‘discussion’, we’ll HAVE a ‘discussion’.

For me, it’s ‘bout damn time SOMEONE stood up for themselves and their ideas instead of agonizing and apologizing for every slight. I hope to hear Trump say, “Bring it on!”.

Lastly, does not the following seem a bit ODD to anyone else:

“the Ricketts are conservative. Prior to financing the campaign to depose the self-proclaimed Republican frontrunner, the Ricketts financed Gov. Scott Walker’s short-lived campaign, and have contributed to everyone from Texas Gov. Rick Perry, to Sens. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, to Gov. Chris Christie, Sen. Lindsey Graham, and former Gov. Jeb Bush.”

Seems more GOPe than ‘conservative’ to me.

No, he acts like a MAN. This is what men do when they are threatened or pushed around. If they are not pussies, that is.

The Ricketts family has a very public face in the form of son Pete who is the current Governor of Nebraska. People like to know all the facts about people who are elected to govern their state.

It's also no secret that the Ricketts are conservative... and have contributed to everyone from Texas Gov. Rick Perry, to Sens. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, to Gov. Chris Christie, Sen. Lindsey Graham, and former Gov. Jeb Bush.

Conservative?

“a Team Romney-led effort designed to handicap Trump in primary states”

More reason to believe that there will be a brokered
republican candidate against the will of the people.
I see little chance of the RNC supporting Trump or
even Cruz. Unless of course he accepts a Rubio or
cockeyed jr. as running mate. And then they will try
to get another loon to knock him off. Like they did
Reagan.

I think Trump just committed felony blackmail.

Blackmail is: “Extortion of money or something else of value from a person by the threat of exposing a criminal act or discreditable information.”

If he knows people are crooked and wants to expose them than so be it.
Maybe he is handling this the same as he would Democrat opposition?

If they go negative against him, which they have, then he has a right to defend himself that includes exposing those trying to bring him down. He is public about what he does while the Uniparty does their dirt behind the scenes. It is one more reason I Love Trump.

Take the fight to them, Donald! Trump’s a fighter, finally, a GOP candidate who fights.
It shocks you to see someone fighting back?

People have a right to contribute to whomever they want. But the pattern, here, is so clearly anti, rather than really for anyone--I mean, really you cannot give to both Jeb Bush & Lindsey Graham, as well as a real Conservative like Ted Cruz, and pretend that you are merely acting on principle.

If someone spends millions of dollars, basically to oppose me, I will take notice of the fact. That does not mean that I do not recognize their right to spend their money in ways that they choose. But attacks have consequences. (And I do business with TD Ameritrade, and will probably continue to do so.)

Incidentally, I consider Trump far more Conservative--as a personality--than all of those the Ricketts have contributed to, with the exception of Ted Cruz, who is as Conservative as I am, and thus a tad more Conservative than Donald Trump. Trump, on the other hand, is far more conservatively oriented than the shallow analysts understand. Indeed, the point that is missed, is this:

Up until recently, Trump was focused on great building ventures. He was not focused on political ventures--and preoccupied with building, only casually observed the political drama, comedy or tragedy. The former comments that keep being thrown at him, were simply relative small talk, considering his non-focus on the subject matter.

Now what does a great builder do? He starts with a conceived foundation--based on experience--and step by step, drawing on the architectural experiences of the ages, he builds the subject of his focus. This is a very clear metaphor for the source of American Conservatism--the step by step construction of a political society, by the descendants of the original settlers, who we call the Founding Fathers.

In my gut...Trump is not the person we want as POTUS.

I don't trust him....not one bit.

When Trump tells you his net worth...divide that by 2..then divide that number by 4.

IOW's...he's not to be believed.
