RE: Are people worse than animals?
I think Manny was referring to the BEHAVIOR.
RE: Opinions like his have a rightful place in a ‘free society’ under the US Constitution.
Manny made the remark in the Philippines. Freedom of speech is guaranteed in their constitution as well.
Yes, and that’s why comparisons to other sins irk me, because so far no one’s had the nerve to try to say “murderers are people just like you and me”, and hold parades to celebrate murder.
He should not have apologized. It NEVER works.
Making an apology because Liberals have demanded it is just one last humiliation they foist upon you before they destroy you.
If you've been targeted for destruction by the Liberal establishment, FIGHT BACK and FIGHT BACK HARD!
Donald Trump is demonstrating this marvelously.
When you fight back against these animals, they have no Plan B. They're used to getting their way.
Trump just found his VP.
I think or can only presume that you all are joking. : ),
But FWIW, Pacquiao is not and has never had any claim for US citizen even under the most liberal and broadest of interpretations of the Constitution on US citizenship and or on POTUS eligibility.
Kidding aside, I am not sure how Trump views defending the rights of Christians NOT to participate or celebrate any gay wedding ceremonies. I remember him saying that the SCOTUS decision on gay marriage is the "Law of the land" when he was asked about Kim Davis.
Shush your mouth! What Trump said even just a few short months ago doesn't matter. Just remember Trump said "I will be changing very rapidly. I'm very capable of changing to anything I want to change to."
What Trump will be changing into is anyone's guess at this point.
Truth is I don’t think we’re sure how Trump views much of anything down the road. Not sure he is sure either.
My view is that right now he’s playing to win, and says and does whatever he thinks works best to further that goal.
He’s damn good at that part of politics.
I hope he wins, and I hope he’s as good at presiding as he is at running.
What if we invade the Phillipines, claim it for the U.S. and unite it under Trump-Pacquiao banner!!
The Don could handle that after the election and before the inaugural!
lol
I don’t think Pacquiao would approve of Trumpet’s serial adultery any move than homosexual acts.
RE: What if we invade the Phillipines, claim it for the U.S. and unite it under Trump-Pacquiao banner!!
We HAD the Philippines for nearly 50 years and then let it go in 1945. We even had an ex-President who was their governor-general (William H. Taft ).
We don’t even have to invade the country, there’s a Philippine statehood movement that is gaining no traction.
Here’s the fact — We don’t want it even if they offered it to us. We have enough problems of our own already.
He needs to start his own line of shoes...stay on topic, and beat Nike at their own game.
Dern. And I thought I had’er all figgered out.
The leftwing has perverted “sports” into just another tired leftwing agenda outlet.
They have done the same with “science.”
As far as the big corporations are concerned, there are no sovereign borders between nations. We are all one big market in a “New World Order”.
If cheap labor is needed by the corporations, it is moved across those borders without regard to what people in the receiving countries think about it.
... the sportswear giant called the boxer’s comments on gay people “abhorrent”....
&&&
“Gay”? I don’t think Manny was talking about happy people.
We’re ceding ground when our side lets the left restructure word meaning.
your
Well said.
We didn’t exactly have the Philippines from 1942 to
mid 1945. My late father, his US paratrooper division,
and the US 6th and 8th Armies retook the PIs from the
Japanese. In fact, in 1936 the US government signed a
treaty which would grant sovereignty to the Philippines
in 1946. The war did not delay the fulfillment of that
treaty.
I now have even more reason to respect Manny Pacquiao.
A champion in more than the boxing profession.
Who knows, maybe Manny, like so many young boys, was sexually abused by a homosexual at some time in his life. It’s what they do. That might be a reason for his statement. Whatever the motivation, no one is going to get him to back down. Good on him.
(...I no better, I promise.)
