Ever since the demographic composition of California was transformed by the infusion of millions of Hispanics and the driving out of middle- and upper-middle-class residents (of any race) through high taxes, the state has been a Democrat stronghold - a sure win for the Electoral College and Senate.
Could that possibly change?
The announced retirement of Senator Barbara Boxer has created an open seat, and there has been much glee among progressives over the prospect of the dimwitted but vicious Boxer being succeeded by the photogenic and much smarter attorney general of California, Kamala Harris, who has been dubbed "The next Barack Obama."

Condoleeza Rice will never run so the whole poll is academic.
I don’t think Ms Rice will subject herself to the vilification the CA Demonrat machine would direct at her.

Here in Alabama, a retired Marine captain, now small business owner, and true conservative, Jonathan McConnell, is running against orange haired 81 year old fat cat,former democrat Richard Shelby, who’s only conservative when he’s running for reelection.

I saw this coming once I learned that many filing deadlines for US Congress and Senate are not until late June when it was apparent that Trump was on a roll. Shoot, Marco could still run for Senate again in Florida! The filing deadline is not until June 28.

You are so right. The San Ysidro Health Center is located near the border within the city of San Diego (San Ysidro is part of San Diego). Its patrons are at least 90% Mexican. San Ysidro High School, nearby, is 85% Mexican. Of course this is near the border but further north, in certain areas, the majorities are almost as large.

I took my son to the Conroe Clinic about 30 miles north of Houston. It was 99% Hispanic except for us and I think we were the only ones paying.

LOL! Well, apparently there is no ‘actual’ candidate if we’re talkin’ Condoleeza Rice. I guess it was a hypothetical tossed out to less than 1,000 “likely” voters. So, the seat will most likely remain in the dems hands.
Got a call last week from Bannon in NC. He is running against Burr after losing to the GOPe Tillis in 2014. The call mentioned outsiders, Trump was one, who are running to changes things. Bannon is a constitutionalist and very intelligent. Trump coattails or not this is a movement to take back our country.
You’re probably right; the situation on the ground here in NJ is also very different than that described by the media. Our illegal population is high, as well as the legal non-citizen population.
Governor Christie was shredded by our enemedia for describing the exodus from our state, while that same media gave a Democrat predecessor a pass ten years ago for describing the same thing (Jon Corzine openly discussed how our population loss was only balanced by ILLEGAL immigration). We’ve lost electoral votes in the process, because the illegal Hispanic and Asian “gypsies” aren’t counted.
Condi Rice is not going to run. And I don’t blame her. She has the best gig in the world at Stanford.
The headline surprises, that the Senator lives on.
