The fact of the matter is, every city has public hospitals, dental clinics to treat folks that have no money or little. It is subsidized by the federal government and county property taxes. LBJ hospital here in Houston is one of them. It's been treating indigents for decades.

Emergency rooms cannot turn down patients. Not only for liability reasons, in some cases, it's against the law.

Obamacare was foisted on us by the government to purchase a product or be penalized. Unconstitutional. Furthermore, Obozocare was formulated with help from several insurance companies. Screw competition....we will have the government force you to buy our product.

Be assured, if the government can force us to purchase something against our will...healthcare, they can in the future force us to purchase insurance to own a firearm or whatever other scheme they dream up.

I could really care less. Trump had nothing to do with Obamacare. He is a private citizen who had no vote on the legislation. You should be more upset that the GOP-controlled Congress continued to fund it thru the Omnibus bill. The GOP has controlled the House since 2011 and failed to use the power of the purse against Obama's agenda.

Trump is going to win SC tomorrow and my family and I will be voting for him.

I was finally able to watch the video .. I don’t know why there’s any confusion about it. How can what Trump says directly after Cooper asks the question be taken any other way than it sounds?

Cooper’s question: If obamacare’s repealed, and there’s no mandate for everybody to have insurance...

Trump’s answer: I like the mandate.

He’s right about needing to do something quickly, and we’ve got to have competition, but I do wish he’d stop saying he doesn’t want people dying in the streets.

Of course we don’t want that, but it’s not happening and not going to happen. And it wasn’t happening when the dems were saying it while ramming obamacare down our throats.

He didn’t finish his thought about doctors and hospitals not doing well. Where was he going with that?

He does this trailing off and interruption of thought often enough that it’s become a huge problem with me. I want to understand his reasoning on the issue he’s discussing, and this habit makes it extremely difficult to do that.
