FYI. A zot is against the poster, not the post.

The zotted poster behaved badly and deserved the zot, no doubt about that.
But had he made it clear the post was an EXERPT, freepers might have read it and discovered he wasn’t excusing islam, he was drawing attention to the writing of someone well versed in the atrocious history of that death cult.

He did suggest READ THE ARTICLE...but lost his temper when he was continuously attacked for something he didn’t do. The rudeness was unforgivable, but it’s a prime example of the frustration which comes about as the result of freepers NOT reading the articles, and quite often jumping to conclusions after reading little more than the headlines.

So imo both the poster and the commenters/readers were at fault here.

Freepers are excused however in this instance, by the fact that the poster did NOT indicate THIS IS AN EXCERPT.

Both lose. He lost his freeperhood, and the readers lost the opportunity of reading a well researched, factual article.

Nothing new, I've noticed that a long time ago. I usually read the articles to make sure it doesn't get taken out of context.

Foul language is another matter, Admins don't approve

“Seal clubbing” is also the term used by gamers when an experienced gamer creates a new profile so they can play more or less incognito among the “noobs” for the purpose of rapidly racking up experience points. Naturally, someone very experienced in the game going back and playing at the lower levels of experience is likely to have a field day knocking off opposing players, hence the moniker.

“So in going to the store I missed the excitement, smoke and scorched troll flesh.”

Just like lightning to strike most impressively when you’re not looking.
