One of my cousins likes to do his deer hunting in an area with lots of wild onions. He gets his venison pre-seasoned.

The defect in that one is oregano...
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Asshus University in Denmark researchers flatulence.
Once you start messing with a cattle rumen, you can dramatically shorten their lives and their quality of production, not to mention how efficiently they process their feed. Was any of this considered in the study. If production drops, more cows will be needed.
All of this is a lot of nonsense anyway. Cows are not harmful as they claim. The methane cycle is a sub-cycle of the carbon cycle. Methane breaks down quickly into other gases. Yes, those gases are sometimes slower to break down than CO2.
Carbon is NOT a pollutant, CO2 is NOT a pollutant, and methane is NOT a pollutant. Calling it so simply gives government the right to control just about everything.

Actually, methane is exhausted through cow burps, not farts (cows are ruminants). The fact that global warming scientists don’t know which end of the cow the gas comes out betrays how little science is actually involved.

Oregano-flavored milk, anyone?
LOL No thanks. Or Oregano flavored ice cream or cheese or any other dairy product.

So, cow farts cause problems.
OK.
So instead of wasting precious oregano on cows - who won’t appreciate it like we do - why not just kill the cows...
...and since we don’t want to waste precious natural resources, why don’t we also butcher them up, come up with some nice recipes for cow steak, cow burgers, etc., and then EAT the cows...
Oh. Wait. Uh, nevermind.
In all seriousness, WTF is wrong with people? THIS is the end product of 2,500 years of Western Civilization, feeding oregano to cows so that they don’t fart so much?! Geez, maybe it IS time to just let in a few tens of millions of Moslems and end it all, quickly.

Maybe it will make them taste even better. Those European grass-fed cows might indeed benefit. I'm not sure I want to go to a fine steakhouse and order something that tastes like Italian sausage, though.

Don’t know if it applies, but when I was a kid if our cows ate strong-”flavored” stuff, the milk wasn’t drinkable.
Cold be another of those unintended consequences like the Barred owls taking over the little Spotted owls. Who knows?
