It seems to me the reps tried to remain in session and not officially adjourne. bo said they were in adjournment and made appointments.
I don’t recall the specifics??

He can make a recess appointment, but I don’t think he will have too. To show “fairness”, KY people will demand that McC confirm any Obama choice.

The best is no recess appointment and no confirmed appointment.

Second best is a recess appointment and allowing that to run out Obama’s clock.

Worst is a confirmed appointment.
