for a safe and peaceful week ahead.

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.

May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.

May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.

Sounds like the crud that attacked our whole office. EVERYBODY was sick. Bad cold, major coughing, fever...the worst symptoms lasted 2 to 5 days, but complete recovery took a while. The cough seems to linger.

Did you have a nice weather Saturday?

We were in the mid 30s all day, and sunny. Really pretty day.

Good evening, radu...mid 30s today and 32 right now. Roads were dry for my errands. All the roadside snow is melted from previous warm spells.

You’re warmer than we are!! Again! LOL! We made to 32 but are now at 23 with a nasty north wind. Snow expected in northern TN tomorrow evening but we’ll just get rain. IF the weatherman isn’t blowing it on the prediction.

Glad the roads were dry up there so you didn’t have to slip-slide through getting errands done. That simply is NOT fun.

Licking the monitor trying to taste that chok-lit! LOL! Hubby doesn’t get into holidays at all so this candy has to suffice. Sure does look yummy.

We're bitter cold here - about 14 F at the moment- winds blowing fiercely. We had a momentous week. Mary and Trevor's wedding last Saturday - Thursday morning we laid my brother Michael to rest with our Mother, Father and two brothers in the Hallowed Grounds of Arlington National Cemetery.

One of my cousins I haven't seen for almost 20 years came for the interment. Another Viet Vet, of course! We caught up on memories from our childhood over a half-century ago.
