The Coast Guard is urging the Massachusetts and Rhode Island fishing fleet to take caution heading into the weekend when life threatening temperatures and wind chills are forecasted.

I worked with some ex fishermen in New Bedford that were released from the military during WW2 to supply the market.
The were more worried about U-Boats than the cold.

I am by the coast in RI wind kicking up and temp dropping will be nasty. Lots of ice can form on the deck in these conditions, destabilize zen a boat.
