I think this ad is aimed at a slightly higher age group — folks in their 30’s and 40’s who are big fans of the original movie. This and the Donald Trump Doll ad (love it or hate it) is great ad strategy, targeting a demographic that the Conservative/Republican base largely ignores.
I agree. I just posted the original scene from the movie, Office Space.
As it was playing and I heard the language, all that came to mind is why would a Christian do anything to encourage people to watch this scene? I decided to post the original to point this out. Very unsavory.
Even though I didn’t see the movie, this ad is still hilarious! Cruz to the White House 2016!

The concern I have is that they’ll knock Hillary out. If Hillary is the Dem candidate I think many people will stay home.

Agreed. That was excellent. Done just right. It would be interesting to see a side-by-side of the original Office Space clip. The ad is pretty much dead on to my memory.

The "uncensored" version was not posted by the Cruz campaign; it was posted by Crowder. You do know that don't you? The Cruz ad was a parody of the scene from the movie Office Space.
Office Space was IMO a great satirical comedy movie, written and directed by Mike Judge who also did the movie Idiocracy. Both movies very much liked by many conservatives and millennials and even oldsters like me (I turned 55 today), and lines from those movies are often quoted here.
But I presume while you are offended by this Ted Cruz ad (which IMO was brilliant) you are not offended by Trump's F-bombs and use of foul language?
