In last night's live phone feed that streamed for several hours on YouTube (while tens of thousands listened in), they said that they would give themselves up this morning.
Cliven Bundy flew to Oregon to be with Franklin Graham for the event...but he was stopped when he landed in Portrland and arrested. supposedly he has been taken to the same facility where Ammon is being held.
Apparently they are charging Cliven with the same thing as his sons, felony conspiracy to impede officers of the United States from discharging their official duties, in connection with the 2014 standoff in Nevada.
They have allowed him to go about his life without any charges since then...well over a year...but apparently have decided that this charge is something they can make stick against him and his sons.
Anyone involved in the Nevada incident better be on their guard now as I expect they will now round up others too.
What impact the arrest of Cliven is going to have I cannot say.
IMHO, the Federal managers involved in this keep trying to anty up the situation when there is no real need to.
They could just as easily have arrested cliven on his way hom (if they were bound and determined to do so) afyter the negotiated surrender, as to do it before the actual surrender.
The issues these people have protested are real and they should be protested. You may agree or not with their methods...but they have very valid reasons for doing what they are doing...and in essence, they are the same things we protested against at Klamath Falls in 2001.
The abject trampling of citizen rights by an out of control Federal government.
Our founders understood it. It is PRECISELY what they did against the over-burdensome and tyrannical English government of their day. They ended up being inspired in their writing of the Declaration of Independence and then the US Constitution to outline what the federal government's role is...and they are pretty explicit about it.
Now we live in a day when those constraints are being trampled and a new generation of people recognize the same truths...

As the trampling of our basic rights continue...sooner or later, either we follow their example, or we are going to lose what has been purchased for us.
I hope for the best but there are so few ranchers left, so few people still living on the land. they really have driven most of them off.
I think the only change will come when there is an investigation of the big land bureaucracies, BLM and EPA. An exposure of their corruption and oppression.

Every Freeper should acknowledge that these ranchers and their supporters have highlighted a serious issue that normally gets little attention. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS NO RIGHT TO HOLD LANDS WITHIN A STATE UNLESS IT CAN SHOW A SPECIFIC CONSTITUTIONAL REASON TO DO SO.

Yep. Seems like the hammer is falling.
Yet somehow the FBI hasn’t yet found anything to charge Hillary with...
...not just the emails, but a few little crimes such as:
- stealing furiture from the white house, ordering her minions to lock and clear out Vince Foster’s office (impeding a federal officer from discharging his federal duties), insider trading with cattle futures, etc, etc
Over 18,000 now listening live, and I know for a fact that numerous radio stations around the country are carrying it live.

Not when, but IF—and that seems rather unlikely.
And even if the condition did come to fulfillment, your final observation is spot on, which leaves very little room for hope.

They’ve known where he was for two years but just get around to arresting him ... wonder what the SOL is here.
Or the site is being attacked. Our lovely govt knows how to do that good. Denial of true believers to get in.

David may not make it. He doesn’t want to surrender.
David just said he is feeling suicidal.
We've already lost it. And no one really, truly cares. There are no real patriots alive today. We are all "too busy" - going to work, paying the mortgage, making the car payment, Trying to keep up with rising insurance premiums, buying the latest tech and big screen TV's, following the latest sports news and drinking beer while watching the big game on our big screen TV's - to act would put ALL of that in immediate jeopardy. In all likeliness, we would lose all the "stuff" we've managed to amass over the years, and there is no one willing to do that.
Unfortunately, we have forgotten the words of Samuel Adams:
"If you love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

David is standing completely on principle...and he is refusing to come out. They are trying to talk him out...but he is one of those guys who has drawn his line in the sand.
Dear God in Heaven, give this man, David, grace and wisdom. He is standing for the truth and he sees no way to stand other than to sacrifice himself...it be Thy will, show him Thy way through thy spirit in his heart. In Jesus name, Amen.
