Republican presidential hopeful Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)

79%

is taking a hard position against President Obama’s current gun control push, but various reports on Rubio’s time in the Florida house of representatives and U.S. Senate show a past marked by a fluctuating relationship between Rubio and gun rights. In one such report, published in 2010, former NRA president Marion Hammer said Rubio “has not been a friend to gun owners.”

Hammer was reflecting on the difficultly that attended the passage of a bill guaranteeing employees the ability to keep guns in their cars at work for self-defense.

According to Politico, Hammer described Rubio as a man who talked pro-gun when the cameras were rolling but worked in ways that hurt the bill’s chances of passage behind the scenes. Hammer said, “He has not been a friend to gun owners. He tried to cover himself by voting for it after doing everything he could to work against it. He plays to an audience

Rubio continues to be rated “A” by GOA. He must have received a “lecture?”

If we keep nominating democrats in disguise like Rubio, we are our own worse enemy. Take it from a Florida conservative who has seen him in action. We grow giant sized RINOs down here, don’t let all his smooth conservative sounding talk fool you, Marco is one of the biggest libs around. If he somehow gets in, be ready to hang on to your wallet and kiss your freedoms goodbye.

Mario Rubco is not a friend to anyone who values their citizenship or the rule of law.

I simply could not agree more. The same group with their uppity “protest” not vote because Romney wasn’t pure enough for them gave us the worst president in history.

Only two of those supposedly on “our” side are actually on our side.

The rest are Cheap Labor Express candidates who if elected will abandon the rule of law and surrender the country to fraudulently documented foreigners and give their friends, the Democrats, a permanent majority.

The Cheap Labor Express along with their employees, the RNC, gave us Obama by nominating McAmnesty and Romneycare, two candidates who took a dive.

ets kill off all or our candidates with stupid pettiness and lets just hail in Hitlery...

anyone staying home because of socio-political disappointment probably hands a vote to the opposition, by failing to cancel out that opposition tally...so the stay home reason ought to be quite a substantial one...

the above hardly qualifies as substantial...

they lost because the other side got their people to the precincts in greater numbers, probably because they weren’t spending their time on internet websites preening about how politically pure they were...

I guess it’s lost on you that if they had been supported better, they might actually have done better...

The GOP with their poor selection of candidates and a Republican who was one of the worst Presidents in history, in W, gave us Obama.
