So first I thought this endorsement was a big boom (for Ted). Then I was convinced there was nothing bigger than this un-endorsement. Then Kasich got this amazing counter endorsement.
But those were all just the warmup. THIS .. THIS is the one.
If he had to choose between Cruz and Trump for the Republican nomination, Carter chuckled, “I think I would choose Trump, which may surprise some of you.”
(It did, judging by the loud laughter from the audience.)
“The reason is, Trump has proven already he's completely malleable,” Carter explained. “I don't think he has any fixed (positions) he’d go the White House and fight for. On the other hand, Ted Cruz is not malleable. He has far right wing policies he'd pursue if he became president.”
That. Is. HILARIOUS. And true.
And also it makes sense. Carter and Trump have a lot of supporters who share a point of view on Israel. So …

I really hate saying this, but I counter with Glenn Beck.
This strained connection of certain peoples saying things that could be stretched to an endorsement is ridiculous.
As far as I’m concerned, we have enemies from without and from within even in our Republican slate. The two top contenders now (Trump and Cruz) aren’t my immediate concern, really. Infighting between the two, and their respective camps is. This diversion allows people like Rubio, Bush and Kasich to stay active and viable.
I gave up. He’s still up 20 points with polls taken after the Iowa caucuses.
And I found out i dont vote until April 16.
First primary I ever followed and the whole thing sucks. All anybody does is run for office, steal for a few years and run again.

If Trump wins I’ll vote for him, but I asked for absentee ballot so i dont have to leave the house for him.
Reverse psychology. Carter trying to damage the candidate he fears most. He knows Trump can win the Reagan Democrats and more black voters than any Republican in recent decades.

This doesn’t mean anything. Jimmy Carter’s judgment is so pathetic that it means nothing. Maybe some of the anti-Trump forces put him up to it to give Trump the kiss of death (Carter’s not smart enough to think up something like that on his own).
