Agreed—but then there are pregnant women and women with very young children...my daughter-in-law is nursing...what is she supposed to do? bring the baby with? IMHO This idea is another attack on the family.

The Court decided that, since women were not allowed in combat, then the draft only applying to men was constitutional.
If women are allowed in combat jobs, then the one reason why they were deemed exempt, goes out the window.

I doubt if there will ever be a draft again, along as there are drug tests in the military. Anybody who does not want to get drafted can intentionally flunk the drug test.
She finds another arrangement. Just like men being the only breadwinners for their families does not exempt them.

That is the hidden agenda behind the radical feminist origins. They never wanted fairness...they want to destroy "the patriarchy." They not only wanted power, they wanted to create a system where white males (or all males) were given short shrift or totally excluded from the decisions that affected the country.
They have actually attained many of their original goals. With the help, of course, of emasculated white males.
I think everyone should be required to register now- Including transgender (and all permutations)

Fair is fair. If men have to sign up so should women. Equal pay equal rights equal front line.

The drug testing is for the volunteer military. If we need the draft, then all those ways of avoiding service will become null. You show up stoned? They will draft your butt anyway, and then put you to work doing things like clearing minefields.
