Celebrations of Valentine's Day and the other "dominant holidays" are ending at one St. Paul elementary school, according to a letter from the principal addressed to families.

Principal Scott Masini of Bruce Vento Elementary School, whose student body is overwhelmingly nonwhite, explained in the letter that "my personal feeling is we need to find a way to honor and engage in holidays that are inclusive of our student population."

"One of the concerns that I have," Masini wrote, " … is whether or not this practice is encroaching on the educational opportunities of others and threatening the culture of tolerance and respect for all."

How about respecting American culture. You don't like it here go back to where you came from.

What are the ‘significant’ holidays for the Sand Rats?

"All"? I think not. It would seem to be just the Christians. No Jewish holidays listed either.

The teachers usually have the children bring in a card for each and every one of the other students, sending home a list of names to the parents ...

how can this be disrespectful to any one student when they all get 20+ cute St Valentine’s cards and none are excluded ???

My Valentine’s Day card would include notice of voting down any future school bonds for the district.

Only a cretin without a heart would poo poo the harmless and fun Valentines Day. Can you believe this nonsense? Glad my childhood wasn’t marred with this crap.

How about the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Day???
They have already combined Geo. Washington’s birthday and Abe Lincoln’s birthday, But they are not as important as MLK (tongue in cheek). Valentine’s Day was named after St. Valentine. It used to be called St. Valentine’s Day. I look forward to the day when our new “Pope” de-saints him.

This is the attitude of a moral coward who is stuck in the libtard cult of moral grayness.

"my personal feeling is we need to find a way to honor and engage in holidays that are inclusive of our student population."

"Inclusive"....another word that has been stolen and bastardized. Will it ever end, the complete take over and the raping of our language?
