Giving up already? Jeb Bush has thrown in the towel in Iowa and will leave the state BEFORE Monday night's caucuses get underway (Watch out, New Hampshire!)

Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush is planning to ditch the frozen cornfields of Iowa for - hopefully - sunnier skies in New Hampshire even before Iowans caucus next Monday.

The former Florida governor has decided his chances of winning the Iowa caucuses on Monday are minimal, and that his presence in New Hampshire is more necessary for his flagging campaign, according to a new report in Politico.

Bush's campaign released a schedule on Thursday that showed he will be spending Monday night at a town hall event - in Manchester, N.H.

When you look at the problems this country is facing, Jeb is not the answer. Period.

Strange, the same Washington Post, New York Times and Charles Krauthammer all assured us that JEB won the debate, hands down, last night. Could it be that the Washington Post, NY Times and Krauthammer are the only three commenters in the US who actually CARE??

For those who might not know, the Jeb campaign decided two years ago to bypass Iowa. This strategy was used by John McCain and Rudy Giuliani.

You are right. Though I have nothing against him personally he is absolutely NOT the right man for the right time.

He’s praying on a third place showing in both IA and NH so he can bullsh!t his moneymen that he STILL has a chance.

Every excuse in the book is being researched for this. Expect a quasiquidity of lame old prior contest facts, paid-for push-polling and focus group results and “dog ate my homework” excuses.

I am actually shocked how bad a candidate Bush was.

Even if Trump hadn’t joined the race, Bush would have been rolled over.

He is actually worse at articulating himself in debates than Perry.

Yes, I saw that common core advertising ... And now he leaves town before the votes are counted. Krauthammer really is that stupid.

They both speak confidently and rather snidely that "Trump will not be the nominee". Pure speculation....I wonder if the plot to steal the nomination involves some scheme with those two. And maybe grab Cruz's delegates on an eligibility thing. And add them to the uncommitted party elitists who hate real Constitutional Conservatives.

Conspiracy theory, for sure. But look at the math. And look at the character of the two of them. Both totally bought and paid for, both with big bank jobs after their first elective office.

I know folks, flame away. I'm being way too speculative here.

These are the same people along with the National Chamber of Commerce, Karl Rove etc, who convinced Jeb! that he did not need the base to win the nomination.

Trump took Jeb on first... Trump saw him as the toughest opponent. That’s telling. Also last night the consensus was Jeb won... If Trump hadn’t entered the race there’s a good chance Jeb would have been top dog on the debate stage.
