Trump calling Diamond and Silk back out.
Protesters trying to interrupt the event (shaming the VETS).
Diamond says, “these people come here trying to ruin our event, because their event is boring.”
Trump gave good wrap up. Thanked various people, had his wife stand up. talked about her giving birth within two months, might even happen while in Iowa.
THE SHOW IS OVER FOLKS.
Critique: (as if anyone cared what I think about it.)
Delay shouldn’t have happened. Explanation given by Trump made it worth the wait.
Alternation between politics and veterans good split. (well, Diamond and Silk went heavy on one side, but that’s just the way they roll)
Santorum and Huckabee spirited, respectful, supportive, thankful. Priceless. Schoolroom chair story, unforgettable.
Special Forces Vets. Humbling. John Wayne’s speech about “living well those who died”. Inspiring.
Considering the circumstances, and that those with scripts had little time to practice, those without were doing it without the benefits of (Hollywood) RETAKES, it was a decent event.
It was likely more substantial of a fundraiser than what they normally have. Donors had given $5 million in one day, the new website (to be run continuously for VETS) already got $400,000(approx.).
No matter what anyone can say about the intentions or reasons Trump, or anyone else that appeared had, this event brought a lot of money in for the VETS.
That was the goal, and it was accomplished.
If he had a separate event w/o the vets tonight, it would be a slim and none audience!!!
I do donate to a number of vet organizations around the country but don't care to donate to the Donald, Melania and Ivanka Trump Foundation so they can donate my money, thanks!

As for the money, Trump explained he wanted to make sure the money got to the actual vets and not to so-called charities that do little for their cause.
I don't care if you don't believe him that's fine, but at least don't be loose with the facts.
I watched the last part of it on C-SPAN .. and I didn’t see CNN anywhere. Weird.
And .. he raised $6 Million.
Ah, there he is .. the collaborator with FOX to allow the internet people to be part of interviewing the candidates.
I didn’t watch .. because I hate it when the tear Cruz apart .. I just get so angry about it .. and even though I tried to watch Megyn interview Cruz after the event, and SHE STILL DOES NOT UNDERSTAND HOW LEGISLATION WORKS. SHE KEPT TELLING CRUZ THAT HE WAS AGAINST CITIZENSHIP .. AND SHE WOULD NOT LISTEN.
There is nothing that bugs me more than when somebody in the media tries to judge the work of a sitting Senator about the legislation HE wrote. And .. they get it WRONG every time. He kept telling her that .. but she insisted she knew different. THIS IS WHY I CAN’T STAND MEGYN KELLY. SHE IS CONVINCED SHE IS SMARTER THAN TED CRUZ .. AND SHE WILL DRIVE THE WORLD NUTS TRYING TO PROVE IT.
Well, I don’t have to watch FOX .. They were already on my not watch very often list .. and now I will no longer watch at all. I’m done.
Yes i do have a Roku in the bedroom.....is OAN free on that?
