What do they consider to be minor crimes? False documents,income tax evasion, income tax fraud,identity theft, duo, driving without a license, driving with no insurance...crimes that would end the careers of many of us citizens would be forgiven for illegals? It is hard to find one who hasn’t done one of these things... I have had two mexican sister’s in law and it is hard to find legal immigrants who haven’t done these crimes.

Murdoch doesn’t go to the supermarket, his “people” do these mundane things. He means that the rest of us should be so big-hearted and allow the illegals to cut in front of us (and we should pay for their groceries too). If illegal immigration even touched the lives of his ilk other than a cheaper lawn service, they would care in a heartbeat. But it “only” affects us peons, so why are we kicking? Why are all these nuts so determined to flood the country with immigrants? I’ve known great, highly productive immigrants including illegal ones. Some really do bring good things to culture and the economy. But the vast majority are a serious drag on both, and in aggregate they do not create more wealth than they cost. That means they are not going to bail out the Social Security/Medicare Ponzi schemes. Murdoch, et al, know this. So what’s the real reason?
