Trump always says nice things about people until they cross him? That means Pelosi, Reid, and Schumer haven't "crossed" him. That's a damning admission.

Agreed. He is always very gracious to a fault with all. Take Cruz for example. Got along just fine until he got in the way. I have no reason to believe he will deal with the congress in the same way. Time will tell.
Go Trump
Better than a week to go til Iowa. This has been the craziest thing ive ever seen in politics! This is “Reality TV” I can watch.

How can anyone claim Trump voted for anything when he’s not held elected office before?
To: Isara
The new president will have to be able to work with both parties in order to get legislation passed. There is no other way. The best is that Trump will not let any legislation get passed that conflicts with the Constitution and must be a benefit to the people. Certain things like Obamacare will be just outright put in the dump. The wall will be built regardless of the sick Republicans and Democrats. Deals, yes some but very few.

Nancy....Have you read my "Art of The Deal"? Of course Donald.
Well, then you know I couldn't put every little thing in the book, right?
Of course, Donald.
Well, the little thing that's not in there is: "I'll decide on the terms of any final deal and you'll just have to ........
"Deal with it".

Yep just like obummer makes deals with Ryan etal Reps today! So if he can pass his agenda USING the dems like obummer prostrates and cowers our RINOs I’m all for it!

You see this as a negative because you've been conditioned by failed Republicans to believe you'll lose in any deal with
Democrats anyone.
I believe we'll win with deals Trump makes or there won't be a deal.
Why do I believe that? Because he's a proven, real life winner...Not a whiner

RE:”
Donald Trump said that he has always had a great relationship with Nancy Pelosi in Congress and that the two will work together if he is elected to the Oval Office.
“I think I'll get along with Nancy Pelosi,” Trump said Tuesday on “Morning Joe” when asked who he could make deals with in Congress.
He added, “Ive always had a great relationship with Harry Reid and frankly if I weren't running for office I'd be able to deal with [Pelosi], I'd be able to deal with Reid, I'd be able to deal with anybody.” Just what Paul Ryan is looking for.

If this doesn't wake up Trump supporters, nothing will. Nothing will. They are too deeply invested in him now emotionally. They will explain away, justify or just plain ignore anything he does or says that calls their decision to support him into question.

Trump, I suspect, will stand firm on the big issues that have to be turned around to restore the US. Around the edges, he'll find ways to not totally alienate people.
What we have now is dems who get everything they want. All but the smallest handful of DC Republicans make some noise then cash out to the highest bidder.
If Trump can just stop DC Republicans from selling themselves (there's an impolite term for what they are), things can get done for the benefit of US citizens. When that happens, conservative values and the Constitution will prevail.

Why should I care? Is Trump expecting Democrats to retake the House? If not, she is irrelevant as there are no minority rights in the House. The majority has total control; Ryan and Mcarthy are the people Trump has to deal with.
