He’s not conservative enough for you? So what?

What up with this sudden conservative fetish? I ask because I haven’t seen anything ‘conservative’ regarding the big league issues for decades. Lawyers turned politician deceive and we decline. We lose in every direction. They told us Bush was a conservative. Everyone found out different.

Once again, I ask because I haven’t seen anything ‘conservative’ regarding the big league issues for decades. Have you?

And you think a businessman turned politician will be better?

Think about this. Trump supporters keep talking about "the Art of the Deal", and how Trump always asks for twice as much as he wants as a starting point for negotiations. So what makes Trump supporters think his "export them all and build the wall" is not just a starting point for the negotiations, and that his true goal is something much, much less aggressive (say amnesty in place for the "good" illegals)?

When was the last time we had a President who was not a career politician, or lawyer or a lawyer turned politician?

Do I think a high energy supercharged shrewd businessman who isn’t PC, who built an empire and made the rest of the career politicians on the stage look like pikers, would be better?

Absolutely.

Based on what I know about Trump, no, I do not. I don't believe his commitment to conservative principles or the Constitution would last any longer than the first time they became an obstacle to him accomplishing his goals. And I have no confidence that his goals will always be what is best for the country, but will be best for Donald.
