Many of the stranded were Catholic kids on their way home from DC from the March For Life.

Oh wow that’s right! The March didn’t start till 1pm which is when the snow started. Glad they survived OK. I imagine potty breaks were awkward.
The lack of detail is always suspicious, but of course, if I knew more details, it may explain everything. I keep thinking if Turkey is turning against us secretly, we could have been attacked by them, and if they are special forces, no one would know where they are anyway.

What kind of government creates and environment in which nothing can be assumed to be true?
I suppose skepticism is healthy and necessary, but there is difference in degree between skepticism and outright disbelief upon hearing anything from the government.
I find myself disbelieving everything until proven otherwise.
So, among the candidates from which to choose, whom should I believe? It is not an easy thing, since we as voters have been burned for so many years.
I don’t think the person elected really matters any longer. The people need to change their thinking, or it is all for naught.
Trump? Cruz? Carson? Clinton? Sanders? Will it matter since we are marching toward socialism and big government, and it is not the fault of a leader, but an entire bureaucracy that cannot be changed in one administration.
Besides, being from Minnesota, my vote never mattered anyway. Even when we opine about our choices, we are attacked and vilified. There is no discussion, no weighing of the options, no opportunity for persuasion.
Oh well, let’s talk of snow and football, our version of bread and circuses...
