If conservative leaders are trying to convince us that most of the country is no longer conservative so we need to join the crowd and vote for Trump are they admitting that they failed to educate their audience on what conservatism is and that they should embrace it? And if they are admitting defeat do they want conservatives to give up their belief system and move on in defeat?

The lines between conservatism and liberalism are being blurred in the same way they are in some of our churches. Now at this time in history our conservative leaders should gird up and take a firm stance and not back down to the fuzzy middle that Trump represents.

You can't have a good debate of the issues, without making people UNCOMFORTABLE in their THOUGHTLESS choices.
Do you think people want to ADMIT that they're SUPPORTING A SOCIALIST who STANDS AGAINST EVERYTHING they support,
and will SAY ANYTHING to get elected ?

They're being PLAYED like the DUPES they are,
and it's all just "PART OF THE DEAL !"

And the differences between the SOCIALIST DEAL MAKER Trump, and the REAL CONSTITUTIONALIST and REAL CONSERVATIVE TED CRUZ, are STARK and are there to see for anyone who0 does their research.

You need to take a VERY CLOSE READ of Comment #139,

because he brings out the differenced between
the thought-out TED CRUZ supporters,
and the FEEL GOOD, NON-THINKING Trump supporters.

I think you’re exactly right. I think that’s exactly what’s happening.

I was amazed that Rush admitted on air that Emperor Augustus Trump would govern as a dictator, and that he is a dictator just like Obama. But he is “our” dictator, supposedly. Then Rush said that he has “faith” that Emperor Augustus Trump won’t be as bad as Obama. He will be the kinder gentler dictator that will at least give us the appearance that we still have a constitutional republic.

While it is true that idol worshipers are irrational and unreasonable and will never give up their faith, and while it is true that Christian Conservatives are rational and reasonable, no matter how much you browbeat a Christian Conservative, it is *impossible* for them to abandon their principals. Their beliefs are *who* they are. At most I will just stop listening to Rush, and once I’m gone, I’m gone for good. Does Rush think idol worshipers who have never cared about him before are now his audience? Did they buy his tea like I did? In order to keep them, Rush had better prepare a daily three hour Emperor Augustus Trump worship session. I’m not listening to that. What is Rush going to do? After the election will he go back to talking about conservatism? It will ring utterly false. Where were you when it “mattered”, Rush? Do you think your radio program is going to sway Emperor Augustus Trump or his worshipers to Christian Conservatism after the election? You will be irrelevant to them the moment you sound as if you don’t worship Emperor Augustus Trump. A heretic, an unbeliever, an infidel. Praise their idol or they are gone. They might even target you.

Conservatism *is* America, and Conservatives *are* the Americans. There is a reason no American cares what happens in the elections of leftist countries. Emperor Augustus Trump vs Crimelord Hillary Clinton? Rush used to tell us the establishment desperately wanted to win an election without the “base”. I took that to mean “without Christian Conservatives”. Rush now feels that the “base” is idol worshipers, and that Christian Conservatives “don’t matter”. If that is true then we can expect the GOP to run a demagoging dictator for each election from now on. As long as he’s anti-Jesus (which mean’s anti principals, anti humbleness, anti integrity, anti honesty, anti self denial, anti theft through taxes and regulations) he’s “a ok” to the establishment, right? And snow on the ground will be enough to say “Why bother trying to get to the polls? One leftist dictator out to enrich himself is the same as another. Besides, I don’t want to end up on the IRS/ATF/Eminent Domain/Death Panel hit list of whichever Emperor wins this time if I fail to correctly pick the winner.”

This “feeling” this “ideal” that Emperor Augustus Trump supporters are worshiping, I am starting to suspect that it is in reality a fallen angel hovering over Emperor Augustus Trump and directing events.
