So if the broker didn’t tell Cruz then he didn’t know. Right?

A rational person would agree. Don't expect that here.

So, your assessment is: “And what’s the result? Right now, Cruz probably lost ALL the vote that cares about the plight of Veterans. And probably all the “mama bears” out there who wouldn’t want their children to be verbally attacked.”

I don’t agree. Nothing that happened re Palin had anything to do with “ALL the vote that cares about the plight of Veterans”.

So, I think that’s a bit outlandish to suggest such a thing re the Palin son .. or any other Veteran. Cruz has been pretty out there in support of all Veterans. I don’t see that changing in anyway by the Palin issue.

In case you have forgotten, it was Cruz who wrote legislation, and then pushed and shoved and yelled until they finally took care of the people injured at Ft. Hood.

And .. you’re saying he’s now turned the other way ..?? Doesn’t compute.

People who have a nice bank account don’t have to carry medical coverage the way the middle class do in order to protect their assets. He had the luxury of being without coverage until he found the time to look for new insurance not knowing that he was still covered under the HMO plan.

Leave him alone.

Many people look at both of these candidates and may favor one over the other at any given time before they vote.

I’m going to vote trump, but I like Ted Cruz too.

Unfortunately now he appears to be someone who lies or exaggerates or otherwise embellishes the facts in order to create a narrative to advance himself with people whose support he wants.

This is exactly what he accused McConnell of on the floor of the senate when Ted Cruz called him a liar.

And now we see Ted Cruz doing the exact same thing.

So what does that make Ted Cruz?

I remember some old wisdom, it went something like people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

You don’t believe Cruz’s legislation that awarded Ft Hood Shooter’s victims the Purple Heart along with associated benefits will encourage veterans to vote for him?

I don't think Cruz supporting one bill for a Purple Heart comes close to Trump's impassioned plea to improve the plight of all Veterans. And Cruz staffers or supporters trying to use her son's issues as a way to insult Palin family values was something they should not have done.

You can up with bills and past positions etc to support Cruz. But it's Trump who is moving the nation and not being quiet about the disgraceful treatment of Veterans.

Cruz is a paper tiger about some of these issues. Trump is a voice that cannot be ignored.

You mistake me for a person being against Trump.

I’m not against either of them. I’m just trying to make people accountable for what they say that isn’t supported by evidence. And .. ONE PIECE OF LEGISLATION .. is a clear sign of someone who supports and highly regards our military .. because you obviously have NO CLUE as to what Cruz had to go through in the current Congress just to get that legislation passed.

There may be things I don’t like about both of them, but I’m not going to march it around FR like it was the end of the race.

I’m not saying Cruz didn’t support these issues. I’m saying that Trump knows how to get the public’s attention about them. Cruz did not wake up the sleeping giant; Trump did.

Well, you’re supporting Trump .. bully for you.

Just stop telling untruths about Cruz. It will not support Trump more.

Remember, when you lie about a candidate, it tells WHO YOU are .. not who your candidate is.

I re-read what you responded to. Where is there a “lie” in there? There is a subjective opinion you probably disagree with. My subjective opinion that it’s Trump who has awakened the sleeping giant is backed up by the hundreds of thousands of people who have attended his rallies.

Flip flopping is a weak mental state, misrepresenting to manipulate is a character issue. Neither seem unusual for Trump lemmings.

Everything you say is true, but the Cruz family knew that if their kids got hurt or sick, they could afford to pay cash, and get a whopping discount for doing so. While they probably want insurance for catastrophic events, those are unlikely and they didn’t need to care about perfect coverage like we poor people do.

You are cheerleading for Trump .. that’s fine.

But, you cannot do that if your main conversation is what you think is wrong with Cruz.

And .. YOU NEVER STATE: THIS IS MY OPINION .. you state the items as though they were facts .. and not just your opinion.

Like I said; be careful how you support your candidate, because just saying ugly stuff about Cruz is not how you support Trump. It actually says more about YOU than it does your candidate.

FWIW, I supported what was obviously an opinion with a supporting fact. That is the hundreds of thousands of people who attend Trump rallies are evidence that he is the one who is awakening the sleeping giant.

Unlike the Trumps? Have they ever had to even purchase health insurance?

Thank goodness we have Hillary to look after the concerns of the poor common man. I hear that she and Bill were dead broke just a few years ago.
