Tens of Thousands of Pro-Lifers March for Life and Mourn 58 Million Abortions

Thanks to a massive snowstorm threatening to dump at least two feet of snow on the nation’s capital, the March for Life did not break any attendance records this year, but the tens of thousands of pro-life people who braved the cold and snow proudly stood for life.

While marchers mourned 43 years of legalized abortion, many sounded a hopeful theme for a pro-life future and think the decision will eventually be reversed.

The Roe v. Wade decision, handed down on January 22, 1973, overturned pro-life laws offering protection for unborn children in most states across the country, and made abortions legal and virtually unlimited. More than 58 million unborn children have been killed in abortions since.

Polling data shows Americans are pro-life and few agree with Obama’s unlimited abortion position or that of Hillary Clinton.

As with other recent marches, the number of young adults and high school and college students impressed organizers and provided another reason to be optimistic.

LifeNews has collected dozens of March for Life pictures from pro-lifers attending today’s March for Life. Below is a selection of those celebrating life and mourning Roe v. Wade.

I hope there's a special place in H - E - double hockey sticks for those females and doctors who killed oh-so-may-babies, the MOST innocent of all God's human creatures.

That is equivalent to about 20 percent of our population.

leftist politicians throughout history pride themselves on reaping death in the millions and ten’s of millions. (then the ruling class killers wine and dine and wonder why America is in the sick state it’s in. i pray to God that they really see all the evil they do whilst smoking their cuban cigars and sipping their fancy cocktails in d.c.

Free advice for all pro-lifers:

A DNA test would PROVE beyond a shadow of a doubt that a preborn child is a distinct and unique human being! The case for use of a DNA test should be made at every opportunity when talking about abortion.

WORDS HAVE MEANING: Pro-lifers should use the term “preborn” instead of the term “unborn” because it gathers more sympathy plus it’s more accurate. In order to “undo” anything, it must first be “done”. Many computer programs have an “undo” function in order to reverse the last operation performed. So to “unborn” a baby, one would first have to be born and then, somehow, be pushed back into the womb. The term “preborn” is an accurate description of the situation

No doubt!

For those that might be interested, the film Life Before Birth is an extremely fascinating, and technologically astounding journey in a babies life in the womb, from the moment of conception, to birth.

Definitely worth a watch, instead of two hours worth of babble from Fox News or the likes.

Below is my annual contribution to the debate. I send it to 40 plus papers and commentators. So far I have not seen where anyone used it.

Roe v. Wade Tarnishes MLK Dream

As “fire eaters” on both sides drove this country towards civil war, Democrats professed an apparent contradiction. They demanded protection for slavery where existing, and the right to take their “property” into the territories. They demanded the right to trade their “property” across state lines, and enforcement of the Fugitive Slave Law. Yet during the last heated debates and for years prior, these same people joined the near universal condemnation of the international slave trade.

This contradiction vanishes when understanding the South was being overrun with their “peculiar property”. Democratic Senator Alfred Iverson of Georgia said before Congress in 1861, “We know well that we never can enjoy equal possession of the territories without protection of our property….. They increase, according to the last census bill, at the rate of 32% every ten years.” Meaning the South needed new slave states and plantations to absorb the increasing population.

One hundred fifty years later the Black Community provides voting plurality to the Democrat Party, and adopts their Pro-Choice sacrament of abortion. According to the Centers for Disease Control, black women accounted for about 36% of abortions, though blacks constitute about 14% of total population. Applying antebellum population growth to the post Roe v. Wade period would mean 68 million blacks instead of the 45 million currently living.

So what benefits accrue for blacks providing the Democrat Party about 90% voting support, compared to a mandate for contributing 60% of their humanity to enrich the Democrat slave master’s political status?

Well done, but certainly not surprising ... They’re not going to touch this with a ten foot pole!

( In addition, glancing over your profile, I found your piece entitled The Tragedy of Women in Combat to be most excellent )

I suppose they would call that old Corp you speak of, My Father’s Corp ... One of The Chosin Few ~

Have a really great day

Thank you.

Every year I join with other members of my DAV chapter to ride in a Veterans Day parade. I enjoy the fact I can still wear my service dress blue uniform I had tailored when I left Officer Candidate School in November 1969. I will always remember the time I was able to exchange salutes with a Marine master sergeant in his service dress blues from his time on active duty, who had enlisted in 1936 and said his greatest sense of accomplishment was leading his entire unit to safety from the Chosin Reservoir.
