GOP frontrunner Donald Trump reportedly said he might file a lawsuit over fellow GOP presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)’s (R-TX) eligibility to be President of the United States.
“I’ve said Ted has a lot of problems — number one, Canada. He could run for the Prime Minister of Canada and I wouldn’t even complain because he was born in Canada,†Trump said during a campaign event in Iowa. “The Democrats are going to sue if he ever got the nomination within two days. There have already been two lawsuits filed, but they don’t have standing. I have standing to sue. Can you imagine if I did it? Should I do it just for fun?â€
Trump said he was confident he would defeat Cruz and win the Republican nomination, so he doesn’t need to file the lawsuit.

As a Cruz supporter, I think Trump should do so immediately and demand that it is resolved before the Iowa caucuses!
Then, when it goes down in flames, we can see (if this charade did not do this already) where Trump is at, and get back to the issues that concern us all.
the 12th amendment makes him ineligible to be Vice POTUS anyways.

This law suit has the potential to open up Pandora’s box. It’s best that Ted Cruz just fades away like every other challenger.
Please do this,Trump! While you are at it, ask that it be “expedited”.

Yep, all hat and no cattle. He admitted during the debate that this became an issue because Cruz started doing better in the polls. Bring the lawsuit, Trump, bring it now, and “expedite” it!

On the stage with Beck. Beck stupidly had Cruz raise his right hand and give the Oath of Office for President. Of course Cruz mucked it up and really just made a fool of Cruz, but it was Beck’s fault for not discussing he was going to do this prior to the event happening. I am not sure I could say rote things off the cuff....some stuff yes but not everything. I know it is the Oath of Office he is wanting but still it was a stupid thing for Beck to do to Cruz.
