While this is obviously a leftist slanted article since Trump wants all other candidates to own their siblings, wives, husbands, parents, friends perhaps he should take ownership of his own heritage as well. Not trashing Trump, just saying all seems fair in this election, including holding Trump accountable in that that seed money he received from his father may have been blood money.
I guess I should also admit I love both Woody Guthrie as well his son: there, now I own it too.

I’m no big Trump supporter, but where’s the proof that Fred Trump was a racist?

My late wife’s Great Uncle grew up in Okeema, Oklahoma. He was the same age as Woody and knew him well.
I remember at a family get together, some guy asked Uncle Milt what kind of guy Woody was.
Uncle Milt thought for a short time and then said: “He was just plain sorry”.

So now we are supposed to dislike Trump based on hearsay regarding his father.
Wow, are they digging. The 2 Corinthians thing was lame but this one is ‘so what’.
Or should I say, ‘like, yeah man, so’?

Instead of reaching back 66 years to examine Trump’s father’s alleged feelings toward other races, why not ask some of Trump’s employees of today?
This article is a complete crock.

Ahh, good, more racist label. Keep going MSM, white guilt went out the window after electing a black president (and re-electing him.)

Sounds like Woody was more like a Johnson. Not in a good way.

Isn’t “Johnson” a euphemism for “prick”?

I loved it when I found out one of Trumps's most successful inner circle execs was a hispanic woman.
This is incredible BS, but typical of the left.
One thing for sure, another candidate would wilt with the colonoscopy the media would give.
Trump is the first that I've seen since Reagan that goes over their heads and forms his own narrative.

Insanity.
I swear if the PERFECT person ran for president, one who both parties loved, someone would toss the word “racism” at him..
We all seem to be drowning in racist accusations——and they have become meaningless.

lol...now an article about Trump’s racist dad. Even if true I would bet that you could find the father of any 70 year old and make a pretty good case that they were a racist.

I never liked Woodie’s stupid commie song.
I guess 6o yrs ago there were segregated restrooms, water fountains and Negros went to the back of the bus in Dallas Tx.
I am so disillusioned that New Yawkers were not much different than us “dumb Southerners” /s

Woody Guthrie was an ill-tempered worthless f***ing Stalin-loving COMMIE!
His much milder natured son Arlo must have broken his Soviet heart. Arlo Guthrie would never have inscribed his guitar with “This Machine Kills Fascists!”
