Excellent point
He must be reading my posts here on Free Republic.
You’re full of it, you know that.
Well, I just think its only fair for Trump to be clear on where he stands on this issue.
Will he support the continuance of the subsidies or will he eventually phase them out?
The Iowa voters deserve an answer to this question.
After all, Cruz has made his position pretty clear.
I think we can all agree that Trump is no conservative. He is really not much of any kind of political ideologue. He is not a lot of things. What he is is a red blooded American.
Trump knows how to live high on the hog and devoutly believes most Americans want the same thing, the American dream. He has a heart and a vision and he communicates that heart and that vision with absolute clarity.
Do you trust him? That is the only important question.
There are nearly as many people that have no clue what Rush was saying as there are Rabid Cruz supporters on FR.
I think I’d prefer the latter.
I’d rather a liar who’s conservative than an honest liberal/progressive(although there is no such thing).
Voters are choosing Trump because of the colors- red, white and blue.
More like Trump wanting to close the borders, stop illegals who commit crimes, bring jobs back, work to end the Iran nuclear deal, end Muslim and Middle East immigration at least till he fixes not only the vetting process but the security of the country, and so on. The guy has a economic plan that was co-written with Art Laffer and a immigration plan co-written with Jeff Sessions. The guy is supported by Phyllis Schafly, Sarah Palin and Virgil Goode. He also has Cal Icahn’s backing and Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty.
:You’re full of it, you know that.”
Not very articulate are you?
Didn’t the Robrtson’s endorse Cruz?
Sorry to be redundant, but here’s a current article on the Robertsons:

Yep, thanks for that link.
I had someone who claimed to have inside knowledge on Trump tell me that Trump is hard against all farm subsidies including ethanol but he just does not want Iowans to know it right now as the state is crucial to his success.
I don’t know if that is true, but I would rather support someone with the guts to stand up and say what they believe in than someone who deflects and deceives to get votes.
As a matter of fact, I have been a long time Cruz supporter. For years. When Trump announced his run I thought OK, let’s see where it goes. I’ve actually been quite supportive of Trump.
However seeing his weak and deceitful attacks on Cruz lately has changed my opinion. I now fully support Cruz.
I have always been unsure if Trump was trustworthy or not. I think his attacks on Cruz haven’t done anything to help him in that regard.
Secondly, as for Trump’s reluctance to come clean on where he stands on ethanol, who is to know that he is not likewise telling us all just what we want to hear, and in his heart believing something else?
I have followed Cruz for years. I think I know who the man is. Trump on the other hand is to me an unknown quantity with a lot of question marks about who he really is and what he believes in. I’m done with him for now.
