Explain to us all what return a degree from Yale or Harvard in “Queer Theater Art Theory” will ever produce.
These kids at the “computer school” were never going to love programming. They were never even going to learn programming. They were kids already on the dole who were going to school to avoid going to work. They were basically innumerate and illiterate. No legitimate school would have accepted them. It was a baby sitting job, not education.
My favorite post over at WSJ:
“... kids majoring in gender studies should be warned by their school that unless they know that they have a future in some sort of a brothel or brothel management to forget that major. Additionally those choosing a major in Black studies to be warned that they have no future unless they dream up a variation of Black Lives Matter.
Black Studies = easy way to a Masters and/or PhD and a cozy VP of Diversity position.
For useless degrees like political science and anything ending in “studies”? They might have a case there!
